Changes for Australian Summer

1. The "horses for courses" rubbish that the selectors have been using to hide the fact that they don't know what they're doing has got to stop. Pick the best 11 players for the full summer, regardless of the deck.
2. Pick the best performing shield spinner and give them a full summer plus the tour with NZ to acclimatise to international cricket. There's no point picking Krejza or Holland or Bailey for one test than shitting ourselves if they don't immediately take five wickets on debut.
3. If the opportunity presents itself, use the fact that we're facing weaker opposition to blood younger players.
4. Find selectors that are actually interested in the job, rather than mugs who are more concerned with leading supporters tours than doing the job they should be concentrating on.

i think its time to give ferguson a go in test cricket,looks set for a fantastic career,looks so polished and elegant

I know its only OD cricket but so far Ferguson has looked like he belongs at international level.
He should come into the Test side for Hussey.

So digusted am I at losing to this side with such a big prize at stake it has prompted me to ask every1 what they think should be done to this Australian team that has deservedly slipped to 4th in the rankings for the 09/10 summer. Here's a snapshot of what I think

- sack the current australian selection panel: you can't keep playing players based on reputation ie mr cricket, s.clark, and a panel responsible for losing an ashes series to one of the worst english sides in recent history should be hung out to dry

- punter hand down the captaincy to clarke

- play hughes in every test: he's our most exciting prospect

- drop mr cricket: unfrotunately that very good century came too little too late

- play krezja in every test match, no matter where the game is played, he's the most attacking, wickettaking spinner we have and he will only learn to improve his economy if he continually plays, btw 12 wickets in your debut test match is a fair effort
