There has to be some drop off in form now, we are losing way too many experiences players.

I'd have Essendon as favorites now given the way they are playing and the team we are likely to put on the park.

Will need Greenwood back so he can do a run with Merrett. If there is one guy we should tag it's him. They have no other star midfielders with Zaka out. Shut him down and we have a big advantage there.

Mihocek to go back for Dunn and Greenwood to go forward and have Cox and 5 smalls in the forward line.

Seems like with Mihocek goin into defense, hoskin-elliot and Crocker are marking forwards who could act as kind of Claytons tall forwards and the forward line still be pretty potent hopefully. Essendon's speed through half back and center could be the bigger problem with AT and Murray missing and Varcoe very underdone. Seems they cut North to ribbons today in that area although north werent' far off.

Sam Murray, quick, the future, can and does play back.

Varcoe. experienced and has X factor but is he still under done?

Reid and Moore are they ready? Unknown. Suggest not. Reid more likely if going that way.

seems pace is their main advantage. Not sure rain would affect taht much - would have in the old days when wet suburban grounds tended to be tar pits.

their big in from last time is Orazio.. our small defenders have been really good this year so we will see how that goes. I think Appelby will get him, Maynard may also spend time on him.

Daniher is their big out but was useless on Anzac Day, handy out though if Dunn is missing.

I'd be inclined to leave Mihocek forward. It's working well. We need to expose McLarty to senior footy at some point. Reid would be my choice though if possible. Has Reid had a set back in his recovery? I thought he was due for a return.
