Gutted with the Treloar and Dunn injuries, really going to make it hard against the top teams.

I am not one for rushing players back, especially players with the soft tissues histories of Moore and Reid.

Varcoe, Greenwood, Murray and Brown in the mix to come in

I'd really like to see some form in the VFL before bringing Varcoe back in, even though I do rate him.

Apples and Daics under pressure to keep their slots this week.

Not a single person has mentioned it despite him being very very obviously limited after it happened, to the point he was almost a liability as he physically couldn't sprint, change direction or jump off it!

he also hurt his hand/wrist early in the game.

In: McLarty

Out: Dunn,

Bucks has said he structurally favours the 2 talls up front. Mihicek down back. Cox full forward. McLarty half forward.

Need the second big body inside 50 or Cox will be triple teamed once it's in the air
I think that this week may need to be an exception to the norm hopefully Moore comes back in the VFL and then bring him in for the week after and Reid to follow

Huge week in the context of the year, slap Essendon back into the pack and the club will be bristling with confidence to expose West Coast's soft underbelly when travelling.

In: Brown

I watched the VFL replay and Calum was inspirational.

If Moore is fit he should come straight in.
Don't think they will risk it without VFL time. I think we may have to compromise structure and play Mihocek back. Were there any games we played with the 1 tall? I remember we played pretty well against a strong (at the time) GWS until Moore went down.

I don't think it's panic stations yet, there's enough time in the season to win the required games, make finals and get a good block of work into our sidelined players. I'm certain the club has taken the conservative approach with the likes of Moore, Elliott, Aish, Fas and Reid, no need to rush.

The good thing is that our back six has been relatively un-changed all year. Mihocek is the obvious replacement for Dunn short term. I don't think there will be leadership issues either with Howe, Langdon and Shaz leading our back line. Mihocek has a lot of experience too, understanding it is not at the highest level.

Obviously the health of Moore and Reid is vital to our finals campaign, having the option to swing both forward or back when required will be huge.

Treloar would be handy come finals time too just quietly, hope he makes it back.

Going to be wet Sunday. No way McLarty should debut. Simply way to many inexperienced players.

It just depends on whether Bucks wants to keep the same structure that has won us 6 in a row, or pick a side of the best 22 available.

If he wants to keep the structure, then he has no choice but to bring McLarty in. Otherwise, he has to be a bit creative.

McLarty hasn't earnt his spot on recent form, so I think he'll get a bit more creative.

Where is Greenwood at? He could play a bash and crash style forward similar to how Mihocek has been playing. I'd expect De Goey to play as a pseudo 2nd tall. Maybe even Sier at his height can play a forward role, although he hasn't ever really played this role before.

Otherwise, Appleby just has to play taller and Mihocek stays forward. Even Crisp at 190cm could play taller.

I reckon wet weather would be perfect for us. Bombers like pace and crisp ball movement. If it is a contested game, could suit us. Maybe even Rupert Wills a consideration??? Bombers lack inside mids so we can just play bulls around the stoppages.

Well, we have 13 out of 40 senior players injured.
Only leaving 27 senior players for selection.
Whomever comes in to replace Dunn...will most likely be inexperienced (unless Varcoe comes in).
Mihocek Full Back.
Go with small forward line...

Agree with the inexperience.

Greenwood for Dunn and maybe Varcoe for Daicos. De Goey can play CHF worst case with Mihochek back and Greenwood on the bench for rotations.

MURRAY , Varcoe In

We also need to quell those Saad dashes of half back, and thats to stop their running game. We stick to the similiar game plan from Anzac Day, where we made them kick cross ways to get any open play going.

Saad is overated as. Literally does 1/2 runs maybe a game and barely hurts you. I would put very very little time into him
