i can not stand this player, i do not understand why west coast even drafted him.

he was picked before john anthony, andrew swallow and kirsten thornton. this is clearly why we are a complete rabble of a club!

I'd drop Naitanui for Seaby.

As much as I love Nait I can't say I think he's ready for AFL.

Needs to be a bit more stronger in the arms, and needs a bit more coaching from the Cox.

How was he allowed to be shepherded out of ruck contests though?! When did that become allowed?

As much as I hate Seaby, if we don't get Cox back next week then go for Seaby as I agree that Nait isn't ready. He looks lost on the ground. As Blight said during the Melb game, instead of following the ball around he should run into space and present himself more.

The back up ruckman role is currently Lynch.

If the choice to back up Cox is between those two who would you choose (given where we are at)?

I think Lynch's position in the side is getting close to being in question. He can't lead the ruck and he cant impact game in the forward line. He is like most recent Australian cricket all-rounders - cant hold his place in the side for batting or bowling but gives huge effort and retained even though he really isnt good enough at any one thing.

Agree that Nait looks completely lost. Doesnt read the play very well at all, and is always a step behind the play. Got a hiding in ruck contests too.

Nait can stay in the forward line this year i think.

Agreed.

What makes it harder, however, is that we handball until we get it to a player who can kick well going forward and as a result nobody handballs to nait, as they know he isn't the man to send it inside 50 with his kick. This means that even if he finds space he isn't likely to get a touch.

I think that unless he improves really quickly and starts doing things like Q4 against the Hawks, we'll have to leave him in the WAFL for an amazingly long time. That way he can get more confident in his kicking and get his positioning right before we have him back in the AFL. Then, hopefully, he'll have the trust of his team mates and he wont be so damn reactive.

I'd pick Lynch.

Far more flexibility that way.

For what it's worth, I'd only bring in Seaby for Naitanui if Cox was still out injured.

If Cox is back next week, the decision is a no brainer as far as I'm concerned. Naitanui for Cox.

Could Hansen really be worse than Mckinley as a deep forward?
I'm guessing Worsfold is just wanting to keep Mckinley rating high enough to get a good trade but it'll probably backfire the more other clubs see his deficiencies.

OUT: Cockie, Fletcher, Mckinley, Butler, Bones
IN: Cox, Kerr, Mckenzie, Swift, Houlihan

Who cares its a write-off anyway against the Saints.

Out Cockie?

Rough. Had a good game by my standards.

Bit harsh I think on Spangher, Sure he made a few mistakes today but Is rarely just a passenger and I see a spot for him as watching him from the stands he is usually one of the first to back up a felled mate.

I think the whole team looked Lost today and apart from the usual suspects in the backline I don't think we worked at all well together.

Cox back in Nait at half forward, drop Fletcher (Love him at subi but he is far gone from AFL level) Kerr in for Masten.. Need Hunter Playing for us real quick as he would of been a better prospect forward as we need a tall who can read the play and knows how to lead to a contest.

sorry alvey, i think the fact that my post hardly differs from any of the other shit that goes around here doesnt blatantly show im being sarcastic.

Lynch dropped?

He wasted the footy today, and wasn't much chop in the ruck, but he did ok around the ground. He was very good last week too

woosha said in the press conference that he thought fletcher did his job and was in great touch:eek:

Always Start with outs

Out: Butler, Fletcher, Cockie, B.Jones, Spangher.

In: Cox, Kerr, McKenzie, Schofield, Houlihan.

Do not: Bring in Hansen or Seaby, this game has taught has beens are has beens.
Naitanui should be given one more game before he gets dropped, will benifit from the return of Cox.

Lynch is pushing it, does not make sense for our structure to have him playing his current role. I mean what does he do?
