Guaranteed two of every three posts below this one will contain "Out: Masten" but he was better today than last week.

B: Sheppard Barrass Hurn
HB: Duggan McGovern Jetta
C: Gaff Shuey Masten
HF: Cripps Waterman LeCras
F: Ryan Darling Lycett
R: Naitanui Sheed Yeo
I: Nelson Venables Rioli Redden
E: Schofield Hutchings Ainsworth Partington (held over)

Partington only really in the emergencies to have his turn missing a game. Schoey missed this week, Hutch missed last week and youngsters like Ainsworth needs game time.

I actually want Waterman retained when JK comes back, i think he's a hard worker and i'd like to see him improve at AFL level.

Not sure how our forward structure would work, particularly if Ah Chee comes back and takes... presumably Marsdens spot.

If Cole is mentally up for it I think he is slightly ahead of Nelson.

Better game from Nelson though.

Rioli might be sent back to WAFL to get some form but I'm not sure who would replace him

Yeo on Danger again and bring in Hutch to tag Jelwood. Doubtful Ablett travels.

Nelson out .
Ablett will play.

Its rnd 3.

Not sure about the changes, Masten wasn't too bad

Unchanged, maybe Cole in for Nelson

Cole in for Nelson is my only call.

Nelson on an Ablett, Dangerfield is a nightmare scenario.

Lycett played a much better game today, played more forward which was needed, straightened us up nicely.

Backline felt more balanced than last week.
Not convinced about playing 4 small forwards, when JK comes back I'd like to see one of them dropped.

No.

Lycett or Naitanui are also down there regularly so having a fwd line of Darling, Waterman, Kennedy and Lycett/Naitanui is too tall. Have you not watched the best teams over the last few years? Their forward lines are quite short.

Best fwd line for this season is:

Ryan-Kennedy-Lycett/Naitanui
Venables-Darling-Rioli

Waterman is first man in for Kennedy, Darling or Lycett/Naitanui.

The alignment looks like a s***show right now, so anyone not a tall who we actually want to develop should be brought into/kept in the seniors. Play best 22.

In: Cole
Out: Nelson
Willie stays.

We'll who Geelong names first. No need to bring a tall back though, the only match up change might be Hutch in for Masten to do a tagging role. I can't see them dropping Nelson.
