I've been very critical of Jetta's MIA football ever since that 2014 GF, but I sense Geelong in Geelong is the type of clash he'll perform in. I'd persevere a little longer yet.

Guys as bad as masten and jetta have been simmo wont drop them.

Duggan goes missing a fair bit he opens the game up with ball, Hutchings never does this, he goes safe option side to side which is fine he is playing within his limits, but we really should persist with Duggan and youth in general, only way we're going to improve outside of structures etc.

Masten should be dropped for Yeo. He's been turd this year, don't know why we persist with him.

What rubbish. Masten is such a whipping boy on this board. He was great in the derby and one of our only contributors against Sydney. He's also coming back from injury. Wasn't great today but he serves an important role for us as a link-up player and isn't afraid to put his head over the ball.

Masten:

15 disposals, 1 clearance, 0 tackles, 0 i50s, 0 scoring assists. Literally invisible.

Even Jetta managed 3 tackles, 2 i50s and 1 scoring assist.
Just out of interest how many possessions did jetta get?

Masto stunk it up vs the Tigers and again today but he was reasonable against the swans in that slog. I'm not his biggest fan but I reckon he will be needed against the cats.

This. Hutchings holds the game up everytime he has the ball. He will never be more than a solid contributor and we have better options at our disposal.

In a 10 goal win he had no inside 50s, no scoring assists and no tackles. Not sure that reflects him being a 'link-up player' or not being 'afraid to put his head over the ball'. As Max zero stated, mostly invisible. Also overstating his role in the derby imo.

It's been 4 games and Yeo can take his place no problem.
