Comes down to who comes out for Kerr who will be the only inclusion.

It might be Cox if he doesn't come up, otherwise the unlucky one will be either McGinnity, Masten or Ebert. My tip would be Ebert.

The way he was rolling his shoulder after the incident - it looked sore but nothing unmanageable.

If our team is to go to the next level we can't have Waters and ASelwood playing in the same backline, and has to be replaced with an offensive back flanker.

The only two back flankers we have on our list that are capable of run and carry are Smith and Brennan. I would have loved to see Brennan get a game at some stage this year, I think he could be the missing ingredient in our back 6, I still don't rate Smiths disposal and decision making.

Weedon is the other option long term as a half back flanker. Needs at least another good pre-season under his belt.

brennans kicking is really quite poor at times. I'd even go as far as to say its worse than adam selwoods. Other than that he looks a player.

Setant will play for sure, but I think we'd prefer to be able to keep him forward all day to provide a target/create the chances for the little guys.

Given the shellacking your rucks handed out last time I think we'll go with Warnock/Hampson. Kreuzer isn't right, Waite's done for the season, and Gibbs doubtful. We'll sure be pushing it uphill on Saturday! But signs are incredibly positive for 2012.

Gibbs has a strained AC joint but will play...strap it up an give it a jab.
Hampson will come in for Davies.
Kreuzer is no chance of playing.

I was just working from the official team last week, I'm sure there's some changes to be made, but personel wise that's how I'd have it.

Yeah I like that team too, but it could pose problems having 8 defenders. There are ways around it, but could mess with our tried and true structure.

For the match committee may come down to structure v form with Ebert v McGinnity potentially for the last spot.

Warnock is your best ruckman - he should ruck 75%-85% of the game

The problem with Hampson is he just isn't a forward - he kicks for goal fine, but drops too many marks and IMO is a liabilty in the forward line.

He competes well in the ruck, but for mine he's too similar to Setanta - athletic contest giver - but thats about it

I appreciate he kicked 6 in the magoos - but watching him at the start of the year - he's not an AFL quality forward. For mine it's either Setanta or Shaun - and back a strong running brigade to do the job. Hell WC's leading goalkickers the past 10 years have included Lecras and Matera.

Paddy matches up on Garlett. The other key matchups from my point of view are Scooter on Judas, A.Selwood on Murphy and Schofield on Betts.

They will probably play Carrazzo on Kerr and Robinson on Hurn. If it is dry we can stretch them at the other end and Lecca is potentially a massive plus for us - there is no obvious matchup I wouldn't have thought...

Not sure who will go out for Kerr but Ebert will play , Ebert could surprise this week is a strong body but in the midfield lacks the pace to run with Carltons midfield . Selectors I doubt will drop Ebert play Ebert as the sub , so Masten could be really unlucky and miss out ..... really tough selection call this week !

IMO the Darling one was there and the one against Selwood wasn't, but i'd prefer 2 bad calls than a match full.

**** off Ray. Literally lost Sydney a game of football against Fremantle. It was at Sydney's home ground too.

Might have to use a bit of our cheating umpire tactics this week McGinnity into the 21. Ebert out for Kerr and not sure on the sub. Gaff should play the four quarters. Will be him vs Simpson on either wings. Smith might stil come back it but I'd doubt it.

Also when are supporters going to stop saying. Ebert might have a big one here. Ebert is very important to this game. The reality is, is at while being very talented and extremely hard working he doesn't do enough, would love for him to step it up but he has gone missing for the last month. Calls for Masten to be dropped are crazy, need him if it might rain.
