I am not sure if Danny is willing to tinker with a winning combination and there are no obvious inclusions - Stafford would probably be another week away.

What changes would be made if any?

Knights didn't fire a shot last week but dropping him may have a detrimental effect on morale.

Andy Krakouer is only there at the moment as an opportunist, something that is limited without plenty of big fella's to feed off.

I would drop him and bring in Poyas - someone who is capable of taking a mark up forward and also run through the middle.

Team

We may have to risk Stafford if WC risk Gardiner. I'm tipping both will be named anyway.
If Stafford is a definite starter, then Knighter may be the one to miss...:(
I'd play Krakouer ahead of Poyas against West Coast - he may keep Peter Matera in the back half.

In what will be a low scoring game I wouldn't drop Kracker. Poyas is likly to be named with Stafford.
Dropping Knighter sends the wrong message to the players on the bench. It means if they don't dominate when they are put on the ground then they are Dropped. He had limited game time and set up a couple of goals when he was on. I say play him back to form of the bench(as they did with Brodders).
As much as I like Fiora I think they should give him a solid run in the two's to get some touches and confidence back.

In - poyas
out - Fiora

why necessarily low scoring?

wce average 19.5 goals per game this year.

both richmond and wce defence's have given up on average about the same - around 18 goals per game.

that would seem to me to suggest a bit of a good old shoot out.

toughness

wce are playing a tough brand of football just like worsfold.Ezra Poyas is the man to run through the lines and kick a goal.

Changes

A very tough one this week.
We really were undermanned last game and fought it out for a hard win.
"The Golden Staff" if fit must be in.
Poyas a marking rather than crumbing forward should be considered.
To Drop to the Twos, could be out of,
Knighter (granted had limited game time, and did do some great handballs when on, could get better with a full run at Coburg)
Fiora (Inconsistent may require a full game at lower level to gain some confidence)
Krakouer(Made the most from limited opportunities)
Pettifer ( same as Krakouer)

Geez I'm glad I don't pick the side, it must be so gut wrenching to drop guys after a win.

This weeks team...........

Richmond
B: Zantuck, A.Kellaway, Chaffey
HB: Cameron, Gaspar, Fiora
C: Torney, Campbell, Rogers
HF: Knights, Ottens, Tivendale
F: Rodan, Hall, Houlihan
FOLL: Stafford, Bowden, King
Inter: Krakouer, Vardy, Ednie, Sziller
Emerg: Hyde, Newman, Pettifer
In: Stafford
Out: Pettifer

West Coast
B: Wooden, McIntosh, Collica
HB: Pe.Matera, Jakovich, Jones
C: Chambers, Cousins, Judd
HF: Wirrpunda, Gaspar, Haynes
F: Ph.Matera, Wilson, Williams
FOLL: Cox, Kerr, Braun
Inter: Fletcher, Banfield, Tuckey, Embley
Emerg: Green, Sampi, Humm
In: Banfield, Tuckey
Out: Carroll, Green

I thought Fiora did OK last week. Didn't get too many touches, but limited traitor Maxfield's output in the second half after he had given Tivendale a touch up in the first.

I would prefer if they played Pettifer as a midfielder rather than expecting him to cut it up forward - he is too light to have any great impact other than a crumber.

down a bit on confidence at the momment however once he is put into the midfeild he will take the next step.he has the confidence to take on anyone thats something i havnt seen in a youngster at tigerland for a fair fair while.
cheers!

You guys better hope Ottens kicks 10goals, Knights+Campbell get 30 possessions each, and Gaspar stops all the eagles forwards singlehandedly, because otherwise the eagles will run rampant on you lot ;)

Good luck guys, may the best team win on the day (best team = eagles).

It's all up to him just needs a bit more game time.

I had a few beers with his dad at family day & he said to me
Arron has a younger brother with as much talent as him but
he is a right footer.

:D :)

Actually, I am pleased at where Fiora is at in his development. He was given a job on Judd last week and comprehensively outplayed him.

I was listening to the radio at the Sydney game when Doc Larkins passed what I thought was an interesting comment... When given a boundary line report, he noted that Fiora had just come off and he was surprised that he was a lot bigger than he thought he would be.

My own view is that he is now at the level of the likes of Chaffey and Torney where he is a consistent performer week in, week out. A bit more time and he will step up to the elite level and take some of the heat off Campbell.

Fiora

Fiora is spot on in his development and we're now just starting to see what he is capable of. His confidence in his own ability at this level is definitely on the rise, after two good games on good opponents. Provided he stays fit, watch out for a blinder or two from him in the next few games.
