Palmer > Mitchell
Crowley > Sewell
Mitchell is the dangerous one as he can pinpoint kicks into the 50. Sewell on the other hand kicks floaters.
We wrap those two up we'll be in a good spot. They don't have an ideal matchup for Pavlich.
I'm sensing a big game from Hill in this one.
Hill cut them up last time we played, and you can bet Clarkson will have planned something for him.

The weagles are dominating the dogs over there. This should give us more confidence with respect to last weeks result. That is assuming it was not just a derby effort
nah it's going to be barry halls last game, and they will remember how much they carved us up last year. don't like our chances regardless of there form at that stage.
Anthony out I assume?
True. Then Fyfe will roam free. Lots to worry about in our lineup considering that the Hawks won't have any dominance in the ruck.
You really go over board in bigging up opposition hacks. Are you kidding? Bailey is a brilliant Ruck, finally fit after 6 years of injury. If Griffen is still ginger Bailey will kill him. He (Bailey) beat Jamar last week & Jamar is no slouch. Hale as their second ruck too, if anything I'd say that's one area they have us covered.

Swallow is better than Ibbotson but that is not hard. Ibbotson isn't one of our mids anyway. Ziebell came from the same draft as Hill, and if we haven't recruited a decent enough midfield in since then to compete with those two, then we've absolutely failed in all regards and people can stop pumping up the recruiters tyres.Isn't it you that goes mental everytime we bring up drafting Ibbotson over Swallow? Or is that Memories? I can't tell sometimes.
Did you watch North last night? Swallow was in everything, Ziebell has finally put a few good weeks together, just rips the ball out of packs.
I bet when if Hawks win today and Bailey tears us a new one you'll be the first on here piling into our guys, same when North flog us over there.
I'm just saying, respect where it's due. Bailey is quality, as are Swallow & Ziebell.

Stop being so equivocal. Either we have the players to beat middle of the road sides like North and compete against top four sides like Hawthorn, or the criticisms leveled at players you consistently defend are accurate. You can't have it both ways.
I watched North last night. Nothing impressive. Faded heavily in the last quarter like they always do. Not sure why a side that is aiming to make finals should fear them.
My original point was that without Mundy & Barlow both fit and firing in the middle we will struggle to match it with North who have invested heavily in grunt players. Their midfield is quality inside as proved by them matching it with Carlton's for almost the whole game.
Our recruiters have put together a midfield of Mundy, Barlow, Morabito + the outside players and if they were all playing I would have every confidence we would match it with North. Without them, we will struggle. So it's not a failure of our recruiters, it's the fact we can't put our desired midfield on the park. Simple.
North are not middle of the road, they are on our level in terms of quality young players in development. They thrashed the Dogs, matched it with Carlton last night. They had some key injuries early in the year and are now getting players back & hitting form, much like us. Expect a torrid encounter.
would still like a bit more depth in that area of the ground.
Griffin is out replaced by Pearce.
