Well I disagree with you and think that you are kidding yourself because you have admitted that you are only comparing it from last week to this week. I'm talking more of the previous nine matches up to now and looking a bit deeper and more of the big picture than you seem to be.

R.Shaw and Davies have only played 3 games between them this season, while Wakelin and Presti have played 12 games between them. If you don't get what I mean, then I don't know what else to say.
Whilst i do see your point, the two players who have played 12 games between them this season are still 2 players that did not play last week. They are CHANGES. Again i do remind you i said i have no problem with it.

Also remember that 2 of the players who have not played this year, one of which has never played AFL football (although i'm rapt to see him brought in)

I see the inclusion of Presti & Wakes not so much as changes but more as "back to normals." Same could be said for Richards' re-inclusion; it was only a change for a few weeks there where Mick wanted to run Fraser by himself so he'd play better, (which made no sense to me at all but worked a bloody treat. And yeah Cam was there last week, but same diff. ) Two rucks is the normal way of things imho.

I'm glad to see Pendlebury play. They have to give him enough time on the park to see if he's already a compulsory part of our September plans. Maybe maybe not, but give him a good go for the rest of the year, and don't die wondering.

Taz out is a serious change, he's my favourite HFF in the comp. Hmmm, the forward line might struggle... whatever will we do?? just have to put Bucks & Caracella down there, ho ho ho! :thumbsu:

Egans selection is probably a token selection for the hard work Egan has put in improving on some of his deficiencies (defensive work and attack on the ball). I think we did this with Rowe when we were struggling with injuries even though he had relatively no VFL form, we debuted him because he improved some areas of his game considerably.

exactly. This selection will make him work that little extra to get back in the side, well that's the logic anyway.

Depends on whether it will be wet or not Saturday night, if its not, i would think travis cloke will come in. If its wet, then they will leave it how it is. U dont bring big men into a wet game, except for the two ruckman to back each other up.
