Pitt craps all over Denzel as far as acting abilities go.

Tomato Tomatoe.

I only really liked Pitt in Snatch and his early work in Thelma and Louise. The rest of his acting is drawn out drivel. And he seems to need props in his hands or eating something to function.

But Denzel, is on another level.

Remember the Titans…..

Man on Fire

The Equalizer

And they’re just his fluff pieces.

The function of any team defense in the modern game is directly impacted by the ability of those up the field to limit the ball users effectiveness. Prime Jakovic would have struggled v Larkey with the way it came in in Q4.

There’s been a theme of questioning the quality of Markov’s performance rather than the suggestion of him being the unlucky last man in. I understand the latter, but not the former. The coaching group threw the magnets around after Steele went off with all of Hill, WHE and Elliott spending time on the wing. I can definitely see a scenario where say Noble plays further afield in place of Steele and Frampton slots into defence.

Also probably should give Murph some leeway given we hung him out to dry a little bit, similar to what we did with Hogan. Let Moore do his thing even if there is a minor cost involved in a comfortable win. No doubt if that game gets close, we switch Moore onto Larkey.

True RE Markov. I'm only considering him as the unlucky last one in, not questioning his performances as such.

At this point I'd question whether we even bother taking Frampton over to Perth given Darling is out injured and Kennedy retired. Correct me if I'm wrong but at this stage it's just Allen (Moore) and Waterman (Murphy) and probably no one else worth bringing in a tall defender for.

... Unless he'd benefit for the run going into Kings Birthday, it might be a selection squeeze better fit for Monday week.

Allan is the best like for like swap for Sidebottom
Im a big fan of Allan, but cant agree with that. Whenever Allan plays on the wing, he looks lost, cant find the footy and has a low possession low impact game. At this stage he lacks the tank and the smarts to find the footy on the outside, It's when he plays in the middle that he finds the footy and shines. Now I dont mind if Allan makes his debut (but I think Macrae is more deserving on having better form for longer) but if he does, we need to push someone else onto the wing

I get people thinking Macrae is next in line for a call-up given he keeps getting 30+ in the VFL but on a like-for-like basis he isn't coming in for Steele without the magnets getting swapped around. I for one can't see him playing in the same team as Mitchell and Adams.

As for Ed Allan's tank, McRae made a point in only the last week saying he was getting GPS numbers similar to Sidebottom! Not sure that's an issue.

Just turned 19 which makes him slightly older than the mean first year player. Would be very very unlikely for him to have done any growing this year. A road travelled down many times on this board.
He must be bigger than the 194cm claimed on the Pies website.
Looks that way to me. He turned 19 4 days ago.
Birthday present from Fly perhaps.
Confident he will get a game this week and he will play better with better players around him.

You worried about how you will distribute your weird FJ love between Oleg and Ed in the one team?

I thought Markov was solid too. If he goes out of the 22, it will be due to a change of structure and wanting to play an extra tall rather than related to his performance. With the Murphy v Larkey last quarter - weren't they basically shortish hacks forward from stoppage rather than outstanding delivery. Murphy can't let himself be caught behind a much bigger opponent in that situation - he's no chance - as it was shown.

Dolph (Frampton) is the perfect match up for Oscar Allen and would allow Moore to basically play a free roll on a player playing up the field I just don't know who would be left out.

Does a small get moved to the sub to allow Dolph into the 22? We have been rotating the sub so maybe Beau or Bobby take their turn as sub?

Can't see any other change given McCrae says he won't be resting players

Maybe that's why Fly tried Murphy on Larkey on Sunday...to see how he went against an in form forward just in case Big Bill doesn't get up for this week, or they prefer to bring him back for Melbourne?

Right! The 360 thing necessarily had to exclude finals for it to be a ladder - selective stat but an attention grabber.

Pearl Clutcher.

It was showing us as the best…..

22-2
22-4
23-4

And for a reason that escapes you.
Perspective.

Just sad Mr. Denuto.

Feeling a bit persecuted little mate? You called us being on a 22-2 streak which was(sadly) incorrect. Just own it buddy. Don't get sore about it.

What's wrong with swapping the magnets around? You can't expect to go the entire season without having to change things up due to injury or suspension, giving players a chance in a different role is important. EG Hill on the wing.

I don't remember where I heard this. Murphy is Justin Leppitschs favourite player. 😁
