Let's see how the VFL plays out and the injuries to Daicos/Murphy. Ginnivan, Kreuger, Hoskin-Elliott and Frampton will come in to consideration with strong performances.

Johnson was quiet. I think Kreuger is actually a better fit for that role, however I wouldn't drop him after one match, particularly given the lopsided inside 50 count.

Let's get Daicos back to half back if he is fit and get back to the midfield mix that served us well at the beginning of this year (DeGoey/Mitchell/Crisp).

OUTS: Titch (inj/rest), Murphy (inj), NDaics (inj/rest)
INS: WHE, Frampton, Ginnivan

Maynard into the middle, WHE plays at half back
Murphy to Frampton straight swap down back
Adams into the middle, Ginni plays forward
Johnson plays 2nd ruck instead of McStay

Everybody else gets a 2nd chance

Frampton coming in next week will actually be a big positive for the backline. He’s going to give the backline some much needed height and strength, and take the pressure off Darcy Moore who’s been shockingly out of form the last couple of weeks.

So, turns out those of us who argued for resting some of the older players and getting games into the younger ones might have had a point.

out: Murphy, Mihocek, Mitchell, N Daicos (all but Mitchell injured)

in: Frampton, Krueger, Carmichael, WHE

Lucky: Cameron, Johnson, Adams, Lipinski - any of these could go for Cox, Bianco, Kelly, Macrae, Ginnvan.

Even though I know Fly won’t drop who needs to be dropped, f**k it I’ll go with who I want

In: Frampton, Ginnivan, Krueger, McInnes, Carmichael (I assume Fin is injured)

Out: Adams, Daicos (injured), Murphy (injured), Mitchell (injured), Mihocek

Nick Daicos won't play - hobbling badly after the game. Needs a rest.

So many others we could flip - Frampton has to play. He will free up Moore.

The club really needed to try some of the youngsters more during the season. Now we are kinda stuck.

Lipinski - bye bye. Should have returned via VFL.

Ash - had his chance. Would be lucky to survive.

Noble - some of his credits are going. Back to borderline.

McStay and Checkers still have no chemistry - you could see them talking during the game etc.

Howe needs to go as well but may be saved with Murphy injured.

Markov - needs to be starting.

Cameron is bang average - needs a rocket up his arse. Start clunking some marks. Get angry.

Need to fit lippy in the outs somewhere as well. WHE in if he’s ready?

Sorry TGG. But the “seasons over” comments in the match day thread are beyond embarrassing. Yes we lost, yes it sucks. Yes there’s issues but we can turn it around
I don't know why you take the comments so seriously, stormskye. They are throw away remarks uttered in exasperation and desperation regarding what is unfolding before the eyes of the poster. I don't give them a second look and nor do I care. These threads are posted in and then promptly forgotten. Post game analysis becomes the new thread of choice. Then next week's line up.

Generally I don't understand how some people are able to post so prolifically in the game thread. I don't like to miss the play.

Today, I watched via a 'stream, where leaving the game for another webpage was punished with 2-3 minutes of pr0n and assorted uninvited paraphernalia pop-ups, then lot's of clicking of X's before the game reappears in full screen.

Especially poor performances like today's allow me to happily miss some action to express in un-crafted prose the frustration I am experiencing. Otherwise, I don't much more than glance at the last few pages of the game thread.

I don’t take anything personally mate. Just amazing how some give up so easily. I avoid match day threads for a combination of both wanting to watch the game and also avoiding the cesspit that is game day threads.

I’m confident we can turn it around
