I was thinking if trying Bobby in the centre bounce occasionally would be a good idea. I m thinking like the Dees do with Kosi and to give us some break away pace there. I liked Beau getting a few turns, it shows the coaches are thinking and will try things. Beau will hopefully be a beast in the years ahead.

Personally I’d prefer Cox than Cameron as Cox gives us a goal scorer as well, Cameron is like Grundy only much worse.

Out Murphy
In Frampton (Howe slides across and does Murph’s job)

Out Johnson
In Kruger (this guy won’t give any pissweak efforts)

Out Mitchell (quad)
In Ginnivan (Lipinski, GTFO the forward line).

Out N Daicos (corked knee)
In Markov

Crisp goes to the centre with DeGoey and Pendles. Adams and Lipinski sit on the bench.

Nobody is saying that. He’s worth considering because our entire list of genuine small crumbing type forwards is hill plus some rotating mids, including adams and lipinksi who are not in form and not kicking goals like they were early in the year.
Our problem is not crumbers - it’s clearance and midfield, and Ginnivan can’t help with either.

So, turns out those of us who argued for resting some of the older players and getting games into the younger ones might have had a point.

out: Murphy, Mihocek, Mitchell, N Daicos (all but Mitchell injured)

in: Frampton, Krueger, Carmichael, WHE

Lucky: Cameron, Johnson, Adams, Lipinski - any of these could go for Cox, Bianco, Kelly, Macrae, Ginnvan.
No way is Johnson surviving. Provided Cox shows up in the VFL, he's playing.

Ruscoe might as well be added to the list. And if Macrae is ready to go, he'll get a game.

But the odd ball I want to throw out is Allan to debut. He's rated. It wouldn't shock me.

Need to fit lippy in the outs somewhere as well. WHE in if he’s ready?

I watched Lippy today and the probably with him is his speed of decision making. It is like watching a dazed donkey perform ballet. He'll grab the ball and wonder what to do, then hand it over to the other team.

Nick Daicos won't play - hobbling badly after the game. Needs a rest.

So many others we could flip - Frampton has to play. He will free up Moore.

The club really needed to try some of the youngsters more during the season. Now we are kinda stuck.

Lipinski - bye bye. Should have returned via VFL.

Ash - had his chance. Would be lucky to survive.

Noble - some of his credits are going. Back to borderline.

McStay and Checkers still have no chemistry - you could see them talking during the game etc.

Howe needs to go as well but may be saved with Murphy injured.

Markov - needs to be starting.

Cameron is bang average - needs a rocket up his arse. Start clunking some marks. Get angry.

Frampton is not negotiable at this point of the season.

Our match committee has been off this year. Why we wouldn't at least consider resting Mitchell to play Macrae is beyond belief.

Ash managed six disposals and no hitouts.

Howe should play up forward. Or it's off to the VFL in exchange for Ruscoe.

Let's be honest: Markov is one of our best recruits in a long time.

Cameron and Cox compensate each other's weaknesses. Unless Cameron kicks goals, he's not really useful in too many other ways. He can almost defend but not really. Targeting a ruck this off-season would be prudent. Hopefully, Jordan Sweet.

We can be critical of a team after a performance as such, but it's the second week we've played like a mid-8 team.

OUT - Murphy, Lipinski, Johnson
IN: Frampton, Hoskin-Elliott, Ginnivan

Mitchell or Adams might need to be dropped too
So still going with one underperforming ruckman and an occasional effort from McStay? We looked so lost once Cameron was clearly being beaten at the centre bounces. There was no alternative. It also means you are one corkie or twisted ankle away from having McStay as our number one ruckman for three quarters so we lose a key forward and have a dud ruckman. If Frampton wasn't replacing Murphy he could be the second ruck but he will have to go back now.

After that 18 v 3 humiliation Cox is a must if doing nothing more than making a contest at the centre bounce.

The worst part is it's not like Reeves or Koschitzke are experienced or particularly good ruckmen. They're average, at best.

McStay is needed in packs. He was probably the second best on ground.

I couldn't see Cox returning after he was dropped (and to be clear, I am a huge Cox fan to the point of a #46 guernsey) but after this week, his value has been asserted.

The glaring issue is the lack of leg speed inside. Mitchell, Pendlebury, Adams, Lipinski, even De Goey looks slow.

Nothing in the 2s either.

Perhaps we should try Josh Daicos in there?

I mean, it's worked before.

We kinda rely on DeGoey being a star when Naicos is tagged out of it, ans he just hasn't been anywhere close to that the last couple of weeks...and Pendles, Mitchell, Adams and Lipinski have all been decidedly poor.

Naicos to half back, Crisp to mid rotation.

In: Frampton, WHE, Ginnivan
Out: Lipinski, Murphy, Johnson (can't stay in after that effort)

Ginnivan to sub, Markov on ground.

Def: Frampton, Moore, Quaynor, Maynard, Noble, Markov, Naicos

Mid: Cameron, Mitchell, Pendles, Crisp, DeGoey, Adams, Sidebottom, Jaicos

Fwd: McStay, Mihocek, Howe, Elliott, Hill, McReery, WHE

Sub: Ginnivan

Only a pig headed hater could not see how his absence affected us.

Oleg Markov managed the same amount of disposals as WHE did last week in a similar amount of time. I wonder if the same heat will come to him?
