I think Darcy is capable of playing either end, we are crying out for a dynamic forward and our AA CHB fits the bill.
Cox is no scapegoat, coach is working out matchups if he is to be replaced in the forward line. Very refreshing to have the coach change things up, see what dynamic he can manufacture. Some young players in and a bit of a re shuffle, exciting.
Cox or Cameron = Cameron. Better mark, can relieve Grundy.

roughead - kennedy
keane - darling / Allen

bucks will have to earn his pay in the box for this one.

Having complained about our team and bucks, I always look forward to seeing a debutant, there’s always the hope that they’ll be the next big thing, so that’s my focus for tomorrow. I am actually quite keen on seeing how young Fin plays, I’m excited by all our 2020 draftees. I just hope along with Nick Daicos this is the start of a new era. One bad performance????? He is challenging for worst key position forward of 2021.

Watching him attempt to mark is like watching a 2 year old using a spoon for the first time and trying to get food in his/her mouth.

You just know it’s not going to happen most of the time.

He gets so many opportunities with the ball being put up for him that it’s criminal.

With him out of the way, you might just find kicks into the forward line will be directed at a number of targets.

Part of our problem has been our predictability.

Whilst I disagree with the Cox omission, I think the bolded has a lot of merit. Fingers crossed it leads to some more purposeful entries into the forwardline.

I don’t need to use my imagination because nothing shocks me with Buckley. I mean giving Adams’ midfield minutes to a guy that’s amazingly a worse kick, a defender and 6 months older is logical for him.

Still makes more sense than playing him on Buddy in his first game...

If you were going to pick a week to play GWS on our home ground, last week would have been it.

Well I did expect us to win by 5 goals last week. If anything, it showed that the club can always find a new way to surprise.

Good changes, we probably should have turned over the entire 22 based on last week’s performance. Hopefully it stuns the rest of the team out of complacency. I’m assuming Sier wasn’t permitted to play due to his sub.

Hopefully they can turn on a good performance for the coach, they know how much pressure he is under. If we have another insipid performance I fear it’s curtains for Buckley...which would be a big shame. He has done some pretty impressive things with a flawed and injury prone list.
