Are there any specials on for tickets to this? I didn’t renew my membership this year but have something on in the city in the evening and am thinking this could be good for a time kill.

Yeah this doesn't make much sense to me. Surely you develop the backups in the reserves in the position and structures they would play in the AFL in case of injury. Not having AFL listed guys playing and developing in the key positions has to be a blight on the list management and coaches, unless they are good enough to step straght into a role in the AFL team. Past selection and performance says this is not the case.

Can’t drop Lord yet, 22 game player key forward - just needs more and consistent games - is gonna play a few bad ones.
Finlayson as a third tall and second ruck is not a terrible idea. It’s the only position Finlayson can play, and having a bit more experience in the side, isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if Boak or DBJ gets dropped.
Feels like our last quarter fade-outs are a bit to do with fitness, and just having so many young fellas out there. Finlayson might help here. Taking a third defender helps with his non contact issues…
Finlayson will always be too good for SANFL too. Doesn’t mean he is great at AFL, but we know he can play when in form.

Clarkson and the Roos are getting a bit of a smacking in the Media with each loss every week getting louder.
Ports last quarter’s have been poor all year so hopefully they don’t think just turning up will be enough against the Roos. Take them lightly and it could be a wtf how did we loose to this mob?

I do think most ruck frees are a complete guess most of the time.
Sweet has given the first ruck free in the last couple of weeks, and it seems he then became the only offender all day.
Sweet is the equal highest most penalised player in the league so far. And half of those frees have been in the last couple of weeks.

I don't think we should take them lightly at all. They were fairly competitive when they travelled here last time against the crows. I don't think they are as bad as their results the last 3 weeks would suggest.

My first year as a member. Ryder kicked a cool dribble goal. We were basically ahead comfortably the whole game until the last few minutes when aaron hall and co were piling on goals.

Moraes to play 1/2 game SANFL then be emergency for AFL.
Berry in to get AFL confidence play him deep to get a few goals against a weak defence.
Finlayson in to give Sweet a decent chop, freshen up Sweet. And leave Lord forward without rucking.
Lai and Sinn to mix minutes between hb and wing.
SPP to be Sub. Coming off ACL and the way he plays need to save him from himself. And if we are playing shit. SPP can make a sudden impact when subbed in.

My main memory from that game was a young Nick Larkey kicking 3 goals and me thinking "who the f is this no-name hack". I can't remember which of our defenders was on him but he made him look like a hack. Might've been Dougal.

I half agree with you, but I just weary of running Sweet into the ground. And don’t want to tease Dante with 1 game in then out. I would like Dante to develop & dominate the SANFL for most of this year. So using Finlayson as a spare parts player and cover for Esava (knee) against shit opposition. He will probably only be in for this one game.
