Soldo absolutely has to be out. I'd take Whitlock over him if needs be.

On a serious note, does anyone know when our first pre-season hit out for 2026 will be? Is there a set date for it? Could be the 14th Feb 2026 when we have the intra-club match?

The Soldo selection was dumb.

Yeah Finlayson sucked in defence, but that doesn't mean he still can't be serviceable as a forward and second ruck option.

Soldo was literally a bollard out there.

Especially given we got scammed at the trade table last year, it's time to play more kids. The only positive to come out of this season could be that upon exposed AFL form, a few of them come good. They'll have to since we've given away so many first rounders recently.

Give Walsh a crack. If Soldo is the best we have forward, give Whitlock a taste and/or give Visentini a run of games. I'll allow Boak a farewell game this week, but then Lorenz in for an extended run.

They're not going to be any worse than the injured/cooked/checked out players they'd be replacing.

Rotate more seasoned players as sub.

Honestly not sure I give a ****.

We're now 38-0 in these slots against interstate bottom 10 teams at Adelaide Oval. It's hard to see that changing after getting a good solid break.

Not sure Butters would be ready, so can't think of much change that'll come. Finlayson for Soldo is a no brainer as long as he gets through tonight.

Desperately need a tall in. Mitch needs help and even though was on fire in the first quarter, you could tell he was spent when he was lining up for his 5th set shot which he shanked. So either Lord or Finlayson (reluctantly). If Whitlock somehow plays well in the maggies, he must be in consideration.

Lachie Jones and Burton returns most likely.

If talk about Butters progressing ahead of schedule, play him if he is 100% fit and I mean 100%. None of that Rozee playing six days after having a small nick on his hammy business here.

There’s potentially four ins. The question is who goes out? Soldo and Cochrane are omitted. I wonder who the last two omissions will be? Mead/Boak or Logan Evans; had a mare with his ball use and hasn’t been getting a lot of it barring Richmond perhaps.

I doubt Port will omit Boak though.

Boak has been one of our best for all 3 games. That is not how you treat a champion of the club, especially if he himself is doing ok. I don't understand the calls to drop him - if he was 28, nobody would be calling for it.

The season is not dead, giving up this early is absurd. Yes, it's not looking great, but can't give up yet.

Evans has a future but definitely needs to be dropped, he needs to understand he is not an automatic selection and that performance was not up to it. Be great if we could somehow give Cochrane a full game to see what he can do
