Mentioned Hugh Jackson and Lorenz are really close - i'd bank on at least one of them playing (He was asked about Jackson, but he mentioned Lorenz himself in his response, which makes me think Lorenz will play)

I don’t see the board signing off on sacking him. It’d have to go seriously off the rails, like losing 10 in a row or something completely ridiculous.

I doubt there will be many changes this week, is it as simple as Rioli & Lorenz in for McEntee and Farrell?

Maybe Moraes stays as sub, but if i was picking the team to win now, i would have Boak in ahead of Moraes. But with the season seemingly shot, they are pushing youth more and i get that, but i'm not sure if continually picking Moraes despite his form not warranting it is the answer either. Maybe a run in the two's like Berry is the better long term solution.

Lord is going to be extremely lucky we don't have anyone that can take his spot right now, however, i would consider going smaller up forward and just sticking with Georgiades and Finlayson.

I mean 2x 90 point beltings and if lose our next two (which we probably will) we’d be 4-7 into the bye with 4 losses in a row. It will go 50/50 by then imo but you’re probably right, our board too gutless to sack him smh.

Moraes strength is his running ability and tank. Having him as a sub nullifies that advantage, and is a rather average option as a sub. Boak is similar in that regard.

Lord is extremely lucky, but he's important to our structure. We can't drop him and not replace him with another tall, or Georgy/Fin will get double teamed and have intercepting defenders flying across them all game.

I reckon he’s one of those too good for SANFL but not good enough for AFL.
If we had some decent depth he’d seriously struggle to get an AFL game.

About time Ken acknowledged Jackson. Kid's been playing solid footy for a while and if he can't get a game soon. Why bother extending him a few years back? There is a spot for him in the midfield considering a few of the mids have been average.

He still has Butters, Rozee and the Hornet for the get out of jail free cards but in general, the team is very down and only gets up when he deems it necessary.

McEntee and Burton are in there. Bring back Boak. Lord has been quiet and asked to do too much. Why not bring in Ratcat? Mead is black and gold vanilla ice-cream.

If Scott wants to win this game, he will. He'll clamp down on Butters and go head to head with a hard running midfielder with the Hornet and that will be close to the game.
