He's saying if he thinks something will have an effect on his game, he intentionally does the opposite to prevent anyhting bad happening. So like...if he thinks drinking blue cordial will make him have a bad game he'll go out of his way to drink red cordial - instead of just not doing the bad thing he does the exact opposite.
It makes no sense and trying to explain it made me sound more stupud than usual but such is the wonder of Tom Swift.
Went down to training for an hour or so. JK was a no show, Butler was walking laps and looks injured, Embley was training with the main group as was Hill.

Basically, Darls is jesus. He can play anywhere. HOWEVER, he is 'big bustling darls' for a reason, and we need him up forward kicking his 2 goals a game like he has been doing for us all year. Providing a target, and being the only person chasing in the forward line. 2nd year player and all...
Yeah i'd like him in the guts, but that leaves Hams as our only tall forward left in the forward line

WCE should play one of McIness / McGovern especially with Nicnat maybe a slight hammy

Yep i agree with you...i think Lions only have Hudson as their ruckman? If Nic Nat has any Niggles i would rather he be rested. Mcinnes could be good up forward but McGovern can play ruck too.
Brisbane were without Simon Black earlier in the year, so it didn't matter that Shuey wasn't playing...

Unlikely that Dick would come in for McGinnity but otherwise I think it's a pretty reasonable guess if Butler and Naita are both under clouds.
Now that we have Hill and possibly Dick to fill in space up forward, I am firmly on the Le Cras to midfield next season. We didnt have the class to move him out before but we sure do now.

I agree that we can cover him but i can see him being kept in the forward line permanently due to fears over his knee in the midfield.
Lecras the elite forward come okay midfielder, no thanks.
Scott Burns on air now saying Hill will play this weekend.

This is where we seem to have lapsed the most IMO. Ok so the mids haven't been great either for the last couple of weeks but our forward pressure seemed to be on the decline for several weeks and virtually non existent now. Injuries dont help obviously but even so the opposition defense is getting it out far too easily unlike the beginning of the season when our biggest strength was keeping it in the 50. I hope to see a hell of a lot more pressure in this area this week.
