Out: Nahas, Edwards, Grimes or Astbury, Thursfield, King
In: Tuck, Rance, Mcguane or Moore (if fit), best mid-sized player at coburg and best small forward

Time to start winning.

Thought Miller played really well, just what we needed another option up forward and is a good link man. If he kicked straight he should have kicked 4 or 5.

Out: Edwards, Helbig, Grimes, Astbury
In: Tuck, Morton , Rance, McGuane

Rance, Thursfield, Conca
Batchelor, McGuane Newman
Cotchin, Tuck, Grigg
Martin, Miller King
Vickery, Riewoltd, Morton
Graham, Jackson Deledio
Foley, white, Houli , Nahas(sub)

I hope Moore is fit, we really miss him.. he is just that more composed than any of our other bigs back there.

Out: Edwards(if it doesn't happen BF Tiger's should help the team and lock him up somewhere before he gets to the ground), Nahas and Grimes

In: McGuane, Tuck, Rance

Piss Miller off, VFL is his level.

Thought Houli was ok.

Harsh, except for his kicking I thought he added something. The use of his body at times was important, we don't expect him to kick 10 but if he can crash packs, lay important blocks and kick a couple he is useful for some games this year.

Miller kicked what 1.3, 4 scoring shots in 1 game, Vickery has kicked what 4 goals? but I wouldnt say he has had many more then 6-7 shots at goal in 4 games.

We NEED that 3rd tall option and Miller out of anyone on our list is the best option, I would rather Big Griffiths play the rest of year at coburg when he is fit and get lots of footy under his belt. Morton will be better with Miller there, Morton is a goal sneak, not a one on one conested marking forward, which if you watched the way we kicked to him first 3 games you would think he was the FF who always wins one on one

I hope those pushing for selection play well enough that we see.
Outs :
Edwards, Nahas, Houli
__________________________

Agree on Edwards.
Nason to take his spot.
Nahas - not too sure, but I'd be putting McGuanne and Rance straight back in,
only at the expense of Thursfield - who is not in our future plans.

I like Asthbury but he looked tired, could be time to give him a rest for a week.

So:
OUT : Edwards, Thursfield, Asthbury
IN: Nason, Rance, McGuanne

On notice - Nahas, King.

OUT: Edwards, Miller, Astbury, Grimes, Houli, Helbig
IN: Nason, Post, McGuane, Rance, Tuck, Morton

Edwards OUT for Nason IN is obvious. Nason plays Edwards role so much better - at least at the moment.

Miller OUT for Post IN. Don't care how bad Post is playing at Coburg to be honest but if you stick the guy at Full Forward where he should be played and not some half back flank shit like he is at Coburg, then at least he's learning. If he's no good, we won't die wondering.

Astbury OUT for McGuane IN. Astbury, like mentioned above, is looking a little tired. It's a long season too and he's got loads of responsibility as it is. Just give him a breather.

Helbig OUT for Morton IN. See above.

Grimes OUT for Rance IN. Don't really rate Rance too much, but Grimes is a little light on. I think he's been very good in his 2 games though so again, just a bit of a breather.

Houli OUT for Tuck IN. Tuck very much deserving a game, Houli the next worst in the four games so far.

Thought Houli was pretty good, did a lot of running and linking from what I saw at the ground.

OUTS:

Edwards needs to learn to kick, maybe re-work his ball drop for half a season in the 2nds.

Nahas, tries but just not up to it. Webs or Nason deserve a spot ahead of him.

Thursty, purely that McGuane and Rance will get a game ahead of him.

IN:

Webs/Nason - Replace Nahas/Edwards

McGuane/Rance - Replace Thursty

Thought Miller played really well, just what we needed another option up forward and is a good link man. If he kicked straight he should have kicked 4 or 5.

Out: Edwards, Nahas, Grimes, Astbury
In: Tuck, Morton , Rance, McGuane

Rance, Thursfield, Conca
Batchelor, McGuane Newman
Cotchin, Tuck, Grigg
Martin, Miller King
Vickery, Riewoldt, Morton
Graham, Jackson Deledio
Foley, Helbig, Houli , White(sub)

Nahas just doesn't offer anything. Would like to see Helbiggie get a full game up forward against a weaker opposition. I also think White as the sub is good because he is a very good downhill skier so if we bring him on when we have a run in the third he could help us fire a couple goals.

Out:Graham
In: A ruckman who doesnt stop running when there man is about to mark uncontested in the goal square. Lift your game Angus or GTFO.

Our ruck stocks are a disgrace.

White had a very good game docko, I think that is heaps harsh on the guy as he has been doing his job week in week out. The matter of fact is that Collingwood will win the Premiership again because they are just a freak side. Richmond tried their heart out but you need to sustain the pressure for 4 quarters not a half. Collingwood's fitness is just astounding in my opinion.

Out - Edwards (Does some really good things but his kicking has gotten worse this year and it is killing us)
Nahas - Bit too small, can't impact a contest as much as we need.

In - Whoever Hardwick thinks deserves to play.

edwards should be sent to a siberian mine to toughen up.

king and miller are harsh calls. king did well i think, put pressure and kicked a goal, which is his role, and he chased opponents all the way up the ground if they ran out of the 50. miller although a dud did provide another option, the structure was much better with him. keep him until griff is right, just for structure and teaching the kids to kick to more than just jack.

nahas was quiet but not terrible. would love to squeeze tuck and nason in somehow. houli played better but still needs to improve, could be taken out for nason. of the players who were deserving of being dropped tonight only houli and edwards have been poor pretty much every game. we have to reward consistency and players like nahas and jackson who were crap today were good in the first few weeks so need to be afforded one off week at least.

sometimes a team is just better than you theres no point dropping a raft of blokes if we were outplayed as a team but they werent individually poor.

one maybe change:
thursfield or grimes for mcguane, although i think both played reasonable games, and were just outbodied because of their size. thursfield spoiled well, actually killing the ball, and i think reaffirmed his place as our best spoiler. grimes competed well but is still just too skinny, but then again so is thursty. i suppose its a choice of developing grimes, or rewarding thurfield.

one definite change (assuming noone is injured or comes back from injury):
edwards for morton. an actually skillful and damaging wingman, not a kick grubbing...

Is Griffiths ready? Thursfield was a great addition to the team IMO.

Are McGuane and Rance back? Maybe give Astbury a rest? Grimes will be dropped, which is harsh but we won't need him.

Edwards must be close to getting dropped. Needs to kick his kicking.

i didnt think king was that bad... not as bad as edwards.
i think we should keep moore on the sidelines for a couple more weeks because we dont want him to get injured and then have to be out for a few more weeks

I think 5 changes is too many in 1 week.... As I've stated before teams need a bit of stability. changing over a quarter of your side generally equals losses, particularly when you are a weakened side.

For me:

Grimes out for McGuane
Thursty/Astbury for Rance. Preferably Thursty as Astbury needs more games but if he needs a break then rest him.
Tuck in for Nahas.

Edwards did ok tonight but have Nason ready in the coming weeks.
Helbig for Morton but not this week. Make Morton really earn it.

****en Graham was great again tonight! WTF!?!?

****en Edwards was a shambles.

Out - Edwards, Helbig, Grimes
In - Rance/McGuane, Nason, Tuck

PLEASE!!!

How the hell are people saying drop Graham? He was terrific tonight, I had him as 4th best.

Edwards was shithouse.

Out: Edwards, Nahas, Grimes (thought he was actually fairly good but we need some experience down back

In: Rance/Moore, Morton, Rance/Moore or Tuck
