It was a masterclass in being completely invisible, even while scoring one goal. In fact, had it not been for the hilarious personal attacks on his dubious abilities from the gentleman sitting 2 rows ahead of me (with a fog horn of a voice), I wouldn't have noticed he was playing at all!

Alas, the game wasn’t on up here but Hipwood’s history and your nomination (along with being heckled by a member of the crowd, which would suggest a special brand of mediocrity) is good enough for me

Alight, firstly, go the farkena ressies. 3-0. Best thing about this is our list depth is about to continually improve. Juddy is close, then Lafau, and by R10 we should have the rest of the ACL lads in. And Prestia should help our reserves out as well
On the ones, if we could of converted better, the margin would of been closer again. Missed 3/4 sitters.
The kids are great and Balta will be straight in next weekend. I think Bauer will be the unlucky one there as Blight should play forward and be 2nd ruck. We may have a luxury of both Balta and Blight being able to mix and match between forward and back to stretch defences. Pretty good conundrum to have. Makes us far more unpredictable. Broad, Miller, Vlaus and Trainer were fantastic. Hopper was great and Trezize had his best game for the club.

McAuliffe looks to have a foot injury and could be out for weeks. Smillie needs another 2/3 weeks in the magoos to get match fitness up.
