Changes this week

I read in the paper that Fergy, Col and Wheatley are available, so what are the changes? I'd say Godders out for Col (If he's fit), but I'd like Wheatley to earn his spot back off Bell and I'm not sure about the Fergy conundrum considering our side is already fairly tall.

Fingers crossed we get Sylvia in for Godfrey, would be silly not to if he was available. Apparently Nathan brown is available too. Would say Wheatley and Fergs would resume at Sandringham...

the way dunn is playin i dont think many ppl would drop him..though bates form has worn off

I think Bate may struggle but what we have in now is pretty much our full-stregth line-up.

Dunn is in our best 22.

Yeah Id be keep Dunn in for sure, tho im sure he will drop in and out as he settles. But his form up to now has been flipping awesome! Was great to watch against the hawks.

I don't believe Sylvia is a walk up start to our best 22 at this stage. He needs to really prove himself like McLean and Moloney were forced to earlier this year.

Bate has done enough to keep his spot, his pace will come in handy against the Wegs.

Depending on fitness but 1 of Sylvia/Brown/Wheatley for Bate.
Godfrey is needed this week.

Would not risk Browny in WA coming off soft tissue injury (or Wheatley for that matter)

Col may need a run in twos....maybe Col in Godders out, though.

Doubt Godders will be out with number of eagles midfield that require tagging.

No change, from what Carlos (the guy that knows Sylvia was saying) he should be given another week off or maybe a limited run for Sandy.

As for the rest well they say if it aint broken dont fix it. As much as everyone round here hates Godders the fact is

Godfrey games in 2006= 5 for 5 wins

He has terrible disposal and makes errors but might be worth having around as he will run all day and neglect a WC midfielder hopefully.

Yeh i wouldn't mind Godfrey playing as long as he isn't in the centre bounces because we are better with McLean, Bruce, Green, Johnstone, Moloney, McDonald and prety much any other melbourne player in there.

Bate could hopefully trouble them the way Embley troubles us (though on a smaller scale probably)

Give Bate a wing and let him drop forward on occasions, hopefully the Eagles midfield wont bother picking up

as for Sylvia, as much as I love him as a player, give him a run in the twos, same for Brown and Wheatley.

Dunn is definately staying.

Where will Miller play? I have a feeling he'll get Hanson so Rivers can float but I'd still rather Miller maybe on a wing even? atleast sharing CHF with Dunn.

also there is Staker to worry about. and Carroll gets Lynch

id say wheatley will come in. godders will probably stay coz of the tagging. bate didnt look right last week. i was sitting near the bench and he didnt seem fit. might have or had the flu, or maybe some kind of injury but i doubt that. might just play a half in sandy altohugh once out like everyone else hes gonna ahve to work hard to get his position back. i dont want him out but he prob needs to regain some form in the 2s and we need wheatley for our kick ins.
