Brissy side has handy ins and 5 no names out.

Yep Voss wants this one big time...he has to show that they are on the right path and confirm it..lets not forget his job is probably on shaky ground if they dont progress, after the **** ups of his first couple of years when he operated out of the Spud handbook of coaching..

Having said that, we have some handy ins too, but more importantly, some real handy outs..;)

We are only missing Vickery, grimes and foley from our best 22. Mcguane, king and white would miss out. Been disappointed with kings last 2 games although they were both coming back from injury
That is a big 3 though !!!

Also i would fit Batch in our best 22

Who would you hav replace him?

Miller is finished.

Astbury well hes obviously not rated at all by the club anymore .

Who said?

He is on the comeback trail after being out for 12 months after dislocating his patella and suffering extensive medial ligament damage. I have no doubt he will get one or two games at the end of the year, but with finals out of contention why take the risk?

And he will again. However talk of post on him is when he will kick a bag.

all well and good but if post is not up to these jobs better to know before the season ends
he needs to play at least a 1/4 on brown

Not true we put our best backman on brown as atm post is not up to playing on such a player. I have told u I hope he shows us that he can play. I just have strong doubts. Whats the chances of seeing Arnott before seasons over

Arnott keeps doing his hammy. Wait for next year :)

I dont think there is less risk of injury playing at coburg actually there could b more .

I would hav thought if he has all this so called potential nows the time to develop him in a proper side and get him out of that rabble at coburg.

Also they took this so called risk with moore(his injury was worse)

Helbig is back in now too.

Firstly, the VFL is a lot slower and less intense competition, putting less strain on muscles. Add that to smaller bodies in the VFL and you cant really say that they are more likely to be injured in Coburg than the AFL. You didnt even provide reasoning with your answer.

Anyway, regarding Moore, the guy is getting on, it was time to see if he had what it takes to play in the AFL again. Astbury is 21, a big key bodied player, and injury prone. How is that less of a risk?

They are being cautious with Astbury so give it a break. He is very highly regarded by the club. Highlighted by the fact they gave him the famous number 12..

Why is White getting a game? May as well play Dea as he'll be on the list next year and has a future.

We have him and Maric available for that kind of role right now. Only other option is Verrier on the rookie list

Astbury is coming back from a knee reconstruction so rather than rushing him back the club is taking their time with him to ensure that he is right. There is no need to rush him back into the side given he is going to be here for a while. Some others who have been given games in recent times are effectively playing for their futures.

McGuane stays in, bewildering

I'd rather anybody. Don't care just anybody. I saw him give away 2 of his 5 frees last week that you might forgive an under 10. One was planting both hands on top of someone's shoulders while they were both standing up. I'm still disturbed about. It was like he didn't know the rules. They probably think he couldn't go any worse.
