Eddy has done something special in a number of recent games. He doesnt fit Kens game planYoung was a lot better this week. Did the team things that Ken will love.
I reckon it will be only one change, Chad for Dimi, unless Monfries or Eddy do something very special against South.
this about sums it up........ We may be getting enough depth to rest Robbie soon. Why are people assuming Amon will still be out? He was a late withdrawal tonight and we have a 9 day break before our next game. Unless people think he's not best 22?!
I think it will be Wingard and Amon for Young and Toumpas.
how people quickly forget. ... His, Amon, omission played a big part in our loss to the Weagles.......Wingard replaces Toumpas in the middle
Monfries replaces young in the fwd line
Amon is stiff but I'm sure a good run in the sanfl won't hurt the kidunless Wingard doesn't get up and needs another week than Amon comes in

I think you are 100% correct but when I see Young getting so few tackles 2 weeks in a row I get a bit annoyed at the double standards. I hope Eddy can continue to improve this part of his game so he gets another chanceI've come around to thinking Eddy is there as insurance for Robbie Gray. I don't think the coaching panel - not just Ken because I think they are on the same page here - will have a forward line with Gray and Eddy in it. Too much risk to compromise our team first defensive pressure game.

Could be because he took a corker into the game. And I beg to differ. He didn't exactly help against Geelong so it's a giant leap to say he'd have made an iota of difference against West Coast. He's been built up on here to something he isn't quite like Eddy who was clearly not up to AFL standard last time he played.
I wouldn't move Austin around. We need him to continue to develop as a KPD.Any chance Logan Austin can play Justin Westhoff's role?
If he can, it might be prudent to put some high end game time into him.
We have quite a few tallish players we could put out on the wing in the Hoff's place. The trouble is even while Westhoff is really poor in front of goals at present he is a great competitive mark and a good decision maker in heavy traffic. We could try Austin / Eddy / Palmer / Howard / Marshall / Atley / Hewett in that role but are we really ready to make an unforced change and risk weakening ourselves in that area while someone develops experience?Any chance Logan Austin can play Justin Westhoff's role?

You don't have to be small to have good defensive pressure
Shultz was maniacal at this
C'mon Eddy get this part of your game/ tank happening so there's no excuse to not play you
Interestingly on this point ..... Who does anyone think of as our worst forward for defensive pressure?

Nathan's gone? I should have been told. You know I remember the name, I remember nothing else about him.Shouldn't have gotten rid of Blee
There's no way I'd drop Arch next week and there's no way I'd delist or trade him before he's played 50 games
thought Arch was very very good and his goal was goal of the game. Was in traffic used his strength and speed and said 'I'm going to kick this goal'. Checkside as well. That showed me he believes he now belongs. We know he has ability it is just him believing. Hope he continues in that vain.Arch to stay and he spends more time in the middle which is spot. I'd prefer him moreso in there than Boak
Agreed. I think it's clear we pride ourselves on our f50 defensive pressure and repeat entries etc and it's why some players who seemingly burn the ball keep getting games because they pressure well (gray / young etc)I've come around to thinking Eddy is there as insurance for Robbie Gray.
