Been there since the Malthouse days and I've no doubt he did some valuable work back then but through our troubled 2000's his role seems somewhat murky. Judge certainly didn't have anything kind to say about him

If there's one thing that epitomises my view it's that he was in Las Vegas "chaperoning" the players in 2006 when Fletcher flatlined - given the secrecy surrounding that I'd suggest Gepp was more Mr Wolf than Mary Poppins

He'd left the club but was brought back in as Chairman of Selectors when Simpson was appointed

It's hardly surprising Judge didn't have anything nice to say about him. His role was to report back to the board about Judge's coaching. Given Judge was a poor coach, I imagine a lot of the information he passed on was of a negative nature.

The question is why did the club have someone sitting in the coaches box for the purpose of reporting back to the board on judges performance

It sounds somewhat nefarious and I sure as shit wouldn't like someone perched on my shoulder as I tried to do my job

Judge wasn't a great coach but he also got dealt a pretty shit hand

Great changes as per usual from our clueless MC, no pace brought into the midfield so we still have the sloths in the centre. Jetta will be lucky to get ten touches as well. Shouldn't have expected anything different though, been watching this shit show for years.

What do u expect a forward to do when midfield is getting smacked and backline under pressure? Often to remedy those issues we play a forward as an extra and therefore forwards are outnumbered. Can't put pressure when u have to attack two. Ain't superman.

I wouldn't actually mind 12 touches of his if they resulted in 3-4 direct goal assists and a goal of his own. Especially if he were to chase & pressure going the other way.
Just don't want to see him seagull out the back of packs and then be forced to kick under pressure.

He is always going to be a quality over quantity player, but if you could combine Gaff's ball winning ability with Jettas foot skills...

But, he gets a chance to pull on the jumper so he has my full support; I hope this weekend is the start of him playing his absolute best footy.

With Jetta I don't care how many kicks he gets or haw many tackles he lays, the only thing I want to see is him getting done holding the ball. Should be a KPI for him every game from here on. No more of this immediate handball to someone else because there's a player 5m away who might come at him, tuck it under the arm and run. I don't think there is a person in this universe who is going to complain if someone runs him down, the point is not many out there who are supposed to be able to and he was bought over here to break lines with some run and carry. If you're not getting caught trying, you aint tryin son. Back your ****ing self
