As I have mentioned before heard earlier in the week from somebody in the know that Barrass has been carrying a niggle which has got progressively worse, and that he would be unlikely to play this weekend. Not 100% sure if correct of course, but it may explain a few things?

Since the club doesn't advertise the leadership group on the website, let alone the captain and vice-captains lets say the leaders being referred to are the blokes like Hurn, Kennedy, Shuey, McGovern, Gaff, Priddis, and Mitchell. Priddis and Mitchell aside, do you see any of those guys being removed long term? I'm assuming no. Then what would be the point of dropping a leader for a single game?

True but im refferring to what the coach said and then what he did. None of those boys should be dropped imo. But at some stage if we keep stinkin up melb games who knows.
