Good size about him too.
yeah built like a brick dunnyhouse is ellis and still growing, hope he gets to see a lot of old mark ricciuto's bustling footage. similar speed, size and skills and if hes half as good we have a beauty.

After watching the Roos session on the couch, Tuck would be in the gun this week if I was coaching. 10m pass to a 3rd gamer with 3 Suns players around him in the last minute of the game. Bewildering football:eek:

It's interesting when the (ever cautious) RFC come out on a MONDAY and say Maric and Griffiths are a good chance to play this week. Hmm but oh well. Looks like we'll have four back and then Batchelor looks to be gone for a few weeks. Moore can cover him which is good. It's nice to have a little bit of depth in the back line. Wouldn't be surprised to see Post or Astbury come in for Derickx either.

Loved him all year.
All Tiger bias aside, he has flown under the radar of the majority of non Tige supporters and journos. Rarely hear him mentioned outside of Tiger forums. Tough as nails, incredibly skillful, and when the pill is in his hands you know its going to the correct option. Gun.

Batchelor to miss with a knee injury. Although he's been lucky we have no one to replace him with lately or he would have been dropped. Has really struggled to find form with him having to play a more defensive game since Grimes got injured.

He has been fantastic lately and has slowly come into his own this season! Great pick up by the club. Would be shocked if he doesn't come close in the Rising Star (although Jeremy Cameron will win by a country mile).
Cameron is ineligible now, same type of ruling as the reason Martin missed out on the Rising Star, didn't miss a week, but too many points on the initial ruling, he then took the 25% discount for a guilty plea.

Now that I'm over the debacle, I'm looking forward to how we respond this week. Surely, we will come out all guns blazing, the players looked gutted after the match.

Go Tigers

Can't believe Caddy got a Rising Star nomination over Ellis

What do you expect after the Suns show that has spanned the whole weekend. Its been us devastated and the miracle that happened at Metricon for the Suns. So its all the Suns in neon lights..

dunno who it was, but whoever ignored the bench last week to get off and led Cotchin back on in the last few minutes should be in the VFL for the next 3 weeks. that's one change to make.

North lost by over 100 points to Hawthorn and then came out and won the following week.
Onwards we go. The scars of the weekend are still fresh, but the sun came up this morning and it's time to move on.

I'm with Tugga...It's time to move on...Just keep away from footy chat and replays this week, and take a deep breath...What would we be if we weren't Richmond supporters...? It is moments like these that build character, both in us, and in our great team...It is moments like these that make Richmond the most polarising and talked about club in the land...Would not have it any other way...Let's go again Sunday arv...Go Tiges !

Its moments like these that we have suffered from in the last 3 decades dude. Its moments like these that if i were a betting man, it would be odds on that if you have been a tiger for the last 3 decades, you have most definitely got character. Either that or we are all just looney tunes. Its moments like these we dont want any more of...

Our depth concerns me to the point of tears. We get a few injuries/suspensions/sackings and we turn to poo. Players like White, Webberley, McGuane, Derickx, etc are not up too AFL standard. Lets beat a dead horse and go back to our recruiting, our trading has been good recently, tick. But our drafting still kills me. Yes we've been getting our first round picks right of late (Cotchin, Martin, Vickery, Conca), but any of us here could pull out one of the big names and your bound to get a good player. Our inability to draft well deep is the reason to where we are now. Post, Taylor, MacDoanld, Nason, Webberley, Derickx, Hislop, I could go on all day. Why can't we ever find a Luke Parker, or Fasolo? Venting over.

In regards to this week's game.

Out: Derickx, Webberley, Batcherlor (inj), Graham
In: Griffiths, Maric, Jackson, Martin

Obviously some really handy in's. The fact that Ziebell will miss, and Petrie looks like he won't play, can only help us. Rance should account for Hansen, and we need to find some more goals away from Jack, Nahas needs to continue to play well, we need more midfield goals. Martin should start from out of the goal square, to try to stretch their defense and make it easier for Jack.

The key to the game, as it always seems to be with North, is stopping Wells and Harvey, when they play well, North play very well, but when they go missing North are shocking.

I believe if both teams are at their best (which neither currently are - form/injuries/suspensions) I would we confident with us getting up. North have some big outs, we have some big in's, and I think after last week we will come out breathing fire.

Tiges by 8.
