Joseph wasn't concussed, he broke his collarbone. Which further proves he was hit in the shoulder region and not the head.

Cotchin gave away a 50m and hit the GC player late in the head with a open palm. As opposed to ziebs who got hands to the footy.

Yep but the end result was Thomas got off and so will ziebell.

Should be interesting to see what happens to Cotchin, I think he might be safe but you never know.

Not arguing he did or didn't hit him in the head. But you can get Concussion without hitting your head. I retired after the 7th.... The brain just has to bounce inside the head, stop suddenly from a good hit and the brain will still bounce. It's just easier if you get hit in the head because the force is more directly applied. A good expert would be able to argue that.

A.maric is terrible , his first and foremost intention is to avoid body contact. I appreciate because he has been brought into the club as a mature player from another club , he will be given greater opportunities . But whilst his is upon on our list SE are wasting spots .

Had his best game on Saturday and had 3 tackles (1 on big Charlie Dixon IIRC).

I think all players should contribute defensively and do pressure acts but a small like Maric probably has more of an outside role to play for the team than to dive into packs and create contests and body on body contact. Just my 2 cents.
