OOOOOOHHHH HELL NO!!! DAT MILLER IS BACK!!! im sorry guys, i was thinking that we'd be in with a chance to win but now... oh now... this is horrible

If he gets 10 disposals i will be a very, very happy Tiger.

Miller has played in 4 wins this year and had 10 Disposals in the GWS, Swans, Port and Melbourne games.

Close although I'd rather O'hanlon than a.maric who I hope never plays for Richmond ever ever again !

Here here.

We need to get back to locking the ball in our forward half and creating turnovers and scores like we did until the freo debacle. That's when our momentum changed..mini Maric has no defensive side and I back ohanlon to have a little more than him

Post, surely he plays back if he gets a run? I don't want McGuane back there ever!!!!

didnt posty cause north trouble in his debut game? i remember him playing as a forward and kicking 3 behinds but he took some grabs. espicially one where he went hard he split the pack

I doubt Post will play. He's too slow and lacks awareness.

I also doubt that Petrie and Adams will play

first game back all year after continually being best in the 2's and you sub him after a quarter... silly.
Sorry but did you see him??? He was flat and had no impact. That's not a good sign for a guy fighting for his career!

Some of his chasing efforts early in the game were just awful. I reckon the humidity knocks some people around more than others and being a Tassie boy, he would have struggled more than most. Watching him running with the midfield group during pre-season, he was clearly the midfielder with the smallest tank. I don't see him getting another pre-season to improve it.

On A.Maric, with the exception of that dropped chest mark in the last, I thought his overall performance was an improvement on any other game he played this year. Certainly not mind blowing but an improvement nonetheless.

Would like to see Post again this year. Would prefer not to see Miller again this year.

lololol in martin's interview with richo, he said he doesnt want to do anything spectacular, oh please that why you dominate
Why read things so literally? Especially when Dustin has shown he's not the most articulate bloke going around.
I think what he meant was that he wants to concentrate on doing the little things more than he has been. Do the 1%ers and contribute and win the respect of his teammates back.
If he does that, then everything else falls into place, because everything else is already there.

Please? Human beings acclimatise to climatic conditions within months. How long has Maric been in Melbourne for? Five years? He is no better or worse off than anyone else on the list in that regard. Being from 'Tassie' had nothing to do with it.

i know... i was just saying that if he gets on a roll with an early fend off he should be great with all stats from disposals to tackles to hitouts to goals >.o

i really hope post doesnt play, have seen nothing from the kid in 4 years and needs to go at seasons end. Miller will provide another contest up forward so hopefully taking some of the pressure off jack.
Hope dusty repeats his game against them last year and lets the hole team know hes back and means business.

Cmon tigers please win!

yep and then cometh the day where we plunge the sword into the tankers and twist it like a chicken wing.

What the hell has Maric got to do with this? I was talking about Webberley. Read my post properly before going off half cocked.

I was referring more to the Cairns humidity than the switch from Tassie to Melb. If you paid attention to my full post, I noted Webberleys tank was the worst of all our midfielders during the pre-season which would have been compounded by the humidity. Being a Tassie boy originally would have only compounded it again.

I lived in QLD for a year and never fully became accustomed to the humidity but you're clearly an expert on heat and humidity acclimatisation so I should stand corrected. My bad.

Made Dustin my supercoach captain this week. Proud young man who will run through brick walls this weekend to make it up to his teammates.

Fair enough. Sorry about that. My bad.
But you did say the humidity would affect a Tassie boy more more. Certainly that is how it cmes across.
Not that it's important and not worth arguing about.
His papers are stamped. Won't be there next year.

Strange thing is he made this week's line up, well he might not make it, but at the very least he wasn't omitted.
Its just mind boggling trying to understand what went down last week in terms of being subbed so early.
I know there was one pretty half hearted effort for sure, just before he dissappeared. What has got me ****ed is that he didnt get the Derrickx treatment.

Might have been a simple case of there's nobody left. What's Arnott's situation?

still doesn't unravel the mystery. If he was subbed purely on the basis that they stamped the file, then I would suggest that the next time his name appeared would be on the delisted list.
What I am basically trying to say is that last week abomination was littered with **** ups, thorughout the first half with us being reamed. The starting point of us getting our shit together basically chimed in with the substitution. So if he aint injured, which from what i can see he is not, then you can just about suggest his ineptness has a bearing on the farce of last week. Now how does he get a look in again? I am at a loss to understand.

Probably given one fnal chance. We seem to have had a lot of players who are very good VFL players over the years, but who just can't quite cut it at the higher level.

Thanks.
I'd say it's either a case of there is nohody else, or he has been given one fnal chance.

barring the old get out excuse of first game back in the seniors, might have needed to get a feel for the pace, if I were given a chance and it was against kids, tipping I would have been rubbing my hands together, thinking you little ****ing beautey. Now he flunked out against a junior side and they are giving him a chance against a team who is red hot form and will kill or be killed to get the points, especially in a game like Sundays elimination final. Its not so much an elimination for them, but they know they bolt the door shut on one of the contenders for their spot with another one, tankers, already ****ed. He might not even play, but shit if he does they better know that it aint a good look if we get to the 20 min of the second and a substitution is made with him going off.
