in regards to hine, not everyone of our players has to have to kicking skills of a premium midfielder. his job is to stop opponents and if he does that, then mission accomplished. he has to know his limitations but. im fine for him tohandball and chip pass all day. hes a valuable addition to our side.

I think that is underselling him a bit.

Hine may yet still cut it as a mid in his own right, not just a tagger.

Thomas for Cunnington if he is available.

McMillan can be sub again.

Grima has been ordinary for over a year now, but right now being in the team means Hansen can do his thing. If one of the Delaney's can step up I would be tempted to drop him then.

I don't see a need for Spud and McMahon in the same side anymore. Both have been crap at times this year, but overall I would take McMahon for his better skills.

I would like to persist with Hine, Greenwood and McKenzie for a few games at least. If Greenwood gets dropped again, then it might signal the end of his time at North.

I want him out to, but he's played a couple of okay games this year. Poor form has really set in over the past 6-8 weeks.

Blacky went into the game under a bit of an injury cloud. Hopefully that's all sorted and he's back to his best.

Tired and in need of a rest? It was the second game back from the bye weekend.

Will we bring in another forward to cover for LT, or do we rejig our existing forward line? I wouldn't mind sending Boomer to the pocket and give him a full-time role against Richmond to crumb the likes of Dish, Blacky and Taz. Either that, or one of the likes of Harps, Garner or even Woody could come in.

What about Daw for Taz? I still don't rate Taz he is one dimensional and no good below the knees and a bit slow, he needs it served up and we are not consistent/skillful enough to play to his strengths and I really think he will bring a tear to the eye of a lot of North supporters on Saturday for all the wrong reasons. Daw is more mobile better at ground level and can not only give Goldie a chop out in the ruck but genuinely worries other ruckmen.

Better contested mark than Daw. Better lead. Works well with Petrie. Fitter. -Keep in
 
who replaces lindsay in F50 ? , with petrie and tarrant there, has to be someone with a bit of pace and can apply forward pressure/lay tackles, or tigers will be strolling out with the pill if we dont mark it, black does his share, but dont particularly want to hear boomer or patch, logical choice might be garner

Why? Maric is only 50/50 and Stephenson would be beaten in the ruck by Boomer, so no need for two ruckmen IMO.
 
Garner must play, this whole he's not ready business has gone too far.

He is a tackling machine, like insane attack on man with ball, precisely what we lack. He was poor by his pretty lofty standards last week, but did happen to win the game off his own boot the week before.

Some kids have just always been better than anyone they've played against and they just adjust to the higher level with aplomb, from what I've seen, he will come in and never be dropped.
