Don't think Davies should be omitted for Pendlebury. He played in a winning side and the less changes the stronger we are. I would personally like to see Pendles in.

Thomas hasn't been in super form or played a game where he would be named among the best. Still learning the craft of a small foward and wouldn't do him any harm to either have a week off or play down at Willi. Cameron Cloke continues to drop easy overhead marks or get too far under the ball.

Cam Cloke is a disgrace. Worst of the Clokes by far. Has the worst hands you'll ever see and misjudges the ball that many times, that its beyond a joke. A good/average VFL player. Nothing more.

Brisbane have a reasonably tall forward line, or at least can go tall. Merret, Bradshaw, Brown, Brennan and even Charman floating forward we need both Wakes and Presti. This may work in Maxwell's favour but he has been in disapointing form (though he was ok vs. Bulldogs though) and needs a run for Willy. As I always say, in absoloute emergencies we can put C3 down back.

C2 was ok especially with some of his clearance work. Now we don't have players like Lokan, Williams, McKee and Woewodin in the team they have to find a new target. C2 being a big slow lumbering ruckman and a Cloke is an easy target, as is Caracella. C2 is far and away ahead of Richards and Fanning at this stage.
If ever we need a 2nd ruckman, especially one who won't get bullied in the ruck, it is this week.

Very harsh to say Nick Maxwell is out of form. Maxwell has been outstanding so far. Very courageous player. He was our only 'key' defender last week, played on Chris Grant, giving away height, weight and experience and did a reasonable job. Grant may have kicked four but Maxwell's defensive pressure, willingness to leave his man to help his defenders and rebounding from defence goes unoticed by many.

IMO Cam Cloke is one of the biggest duds on our lists, I can't stand him and too add to that, he is poop. The problem is I'd probably rather have Cam Cloke as the 2nd ruck over Richards based on what Richards did in the early rounds of this year!

Cam Cloke is our Quentin Lynch - He adds a lot more than his ability would let you expect.

He is our only option as a physical ruckman, and we're most definitely going to need him against Brisbane's rucks. Charman is physical first and a decent ruckman second - He will try to work Josh over physically, and to have Cam as a second option, who is most definitely willing to match it physically, will be important.
