Perfect time to bring Howard in against Brisbane this week to build his confidence back at AFL level.

But it now looks like we will throw him into the deep end in a must win match in the coming weeks (e.g against Collingwood, Richmond or West Coast).

I have held fast against criticising Hinkley but I am getting to the stage where I am beginning to lose faith in him leading this club forward with dumb selections like this.

Arch & Young for that matter are midfielders not forwards or high half forwards blah blah you'll never get great consistency from either playing a bit forward here and a bit in the guts there.

I'd look to move on at years end if I was either of those guys to get more of a midfield crack.. Janus would love it

What is wrong with the bloke, why can't the campaigner learn to drop some marks, or fumble the ball?
If he does that, he may be able to lay a few tackles, and get those defensive stats up.

Howard had 4 tackles. His defensive pressure was fine.

What's incredible is how some posters will pull out literally any excuse under the sun in order to support the unsupportable.

I thought I'd seen it all with some of the mental gymnastics people engaged in to find a reason for Butcher not to come in, or Eddy to be dropped, but this shit with Neade takes the absolute cake.

Literally, some of you, Ken Hinkley could come to your work and take a massive dump on your desk, and you'd be all 'yeah I can see the logic behind that, good decision, good energy, good footy boys.'

But yeah, I'm sure that unlike all those other times that Neade failed miserably to contribute to this team's success, this one'll be totally different. This time he's really going to knock the door down, magically fix all his footballing flaws, play a completely revolutionary role and explode upon the footballing scene like a misdirected north korean rocket.

Some of you should work for the government because your ability to spin utter shit into gold bars is beyond reckoning.
