I normally like to play opposition teams at full strength so you get a better idea of where you're at.

We don't have the skill in our midfield to "just attack". Most other teams have more talented starting midfielders than we do. Tagging the oppositions A grader has been something we've done for years, ever since we lost all our own midfield talent in 2007. We don't even have our own A grade mid.

So what do you think we should do, play a negating player for every player on another team that you view as better than ours?
I disagree with your OP 100%. We need to empower our young players to attack and take the game on, of course defend when you need to, but be creative with the ball in hand, attack and run run run. **** this defend chip the ball backwards 10 times rubbish, or don't go after the ball which is 10mtrs away because you might not be touching your opponents ass anymore, people don't pay their money to watch that crap and it doesn't win premierships. We are obviously not going to win the flag this year, but we certainly have some young players coming through with pace and skill, I want them to be taught to play with a positive mindset from the start.
I mean honestly what would you suggest we do in this game tag Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, and Yarran? Let's take them on, if we lose so be it.

We got brought up on winning. Since 2007 apart from a couple of years it's been tough. Also supporting a team doesn't involve blindly patting players on the back for repeated failure.

The changes, it's a step in the right direction.

The current midfielders we have, they've been getting a 'free pass' for a long time. They have not been held accountable for their poor performances for many many years.

I would be, and it appears most are rising to the same opinion now, absolutely ecstatic if we were down the bottom of the ladder for 3 years and we could see list turnover and quality midfielders emerging. In this scenario everyone would be accommodating and patient because we can all see a future.

Playing the same midfield for eons, there is no rosy future we can see. Hence the bloodbath of supporters spilling over. We have had enough. No amount of talking by the club will change that opinion now.

That i view? No, but there are few midfields out there as bad as ours. You'll struggle to find one without an A grader like us.

I'm not talking about our entire teams gameplan, or about playing attacking football. I'm all for attacking football, and would love to back our younger players. I'm saying we need our 1 tagger in the midfield to take the oppositions best midfielder. That's it. If we let Selwood, Masten, Priddis, Gaff go up against other midfields brimming with superstars that we're not locking down on, we're going to come out with a loss every time.

The house doesn't always win, I'm clearly ahead, especially betting on WC games. No better way to bet then on the team you know best. There is a downside that comes with that though

Menzel is set to kick a bag of goals against that defence and if you add a clearly unfit Schofield and the fact that Hurn will cop a heavy fwd tag and will struggle to get touches, it is the worst defence in the league.

We already have the worst midfield in the league. Judd and Gibbs were always going to smash us and now without Selwood to keep Murphy down, Murphy will add to our pain. Shuey will get tagged out of it by Carrazzo so it will be Murphy, Gibbs and Judd up against Priddis, Sheed and Wellingham. We might as well concede now.

Up forward Kennedy will have to battle 3 key defenders all game because there is no one else down there to help out. And why are we dropping Lamb for Tunbridge. Lamb did more in 1 game than Tunbridge has ever done for us.

One thing that shits me, we get a team announcement email and have to go through the email, to a web page then click a link to get the actual lineup. Why not just include it in the email? I used to get Brisbane emails (due to purchasing a present for ex gf's Dad from lions shop) and they just dump the lineup in the email. Super convenient.

I showed you my betting history from one bookie which is clearly in front. I chose that bookie because it shows a summary page where as the others don't...that I can find.

not a big gambler but was thinking in my footy tipping i get all 9 games correct about 3-4 times a year if i put on a 9 leg multi every round with $20, only one or two wins and I would be up big time for the year. thoughts on this? im planning on trying it this year.
