Outs: Masten Lycett Cripps Schofield
Ins: Lucas NN LeCras Barrass

As much like for like you can get. If we want to win finals we need Schofield and McGovern to actually fully heal before being played again, we have bad medicos. He shouldn't have played last week.

Greetings All

Out: Hutchings, McGinnity, Schofield (Inj)

In: LeCras, Barrass, Nelsom

Hutchings and McGinnity are both good WAFL players and are serviceable at AFL level. However, if we are aspiring towards a premiership this year, serviceable won't cut it. LeCras is a huge upgrade on McGinnity, while Nelson has pace and is skillful unlike Hutchings.

Barrass comes in for the injured Schofield.

What is with this Hutchings out business? He was probably one of our best players against Hawthorn and Freo. That's not to say that he's a lock in our 22, but he's in good form and dropping him right now would be quite silly.
He's a WAFL level footballer who will not take this team forward. He is exposed for pace, strength and kicking skills time and time again. One fortuitous goal in the derby does not change that. He has missed sitters on goal and turned the ball over frequently. I would rather a skillful player like Nelson be brought in. Priddis is the only Plodder we can afford to carry in this team. We got rid of another one in Selwood.

Let's get back to using skilled players to execute our game plan. Not vanilla WAFL 'helicopter kickers'.

Yeah but at the moment he is doing his job so he stays, would rather have him than Selwood

I never liked the term "WAFL level footballer." I mean, he's getting games and playing a role for a team that's second on the ladder, he can't be that bad. Plus every club has guys like Hutchings who are borderline in the club's best 22 and will come in and out of the side. A true WAFL level footballer is someone like Craig Wulff. Hutchings is much better than the average WAFL player but not as good as the average AFL player. He's a fringe contributor, and the type you need to fill out your side, especially when injuries strike. I have no problem giving games to the likes of Hutchings and McGinnity if they're in good form and can play their roles well for the senior side.

Agreed, he is doing his job averaging 19 to 20 touches kicking the odd goal provding some run. We have a good midfield that has even contributors

Be nice if someone could backhand Dickson this week, he annoys me.

Watching him spud it up over the last few years to suddenly be a dead eye and a barometer doesn't make any sense. He was a catalyst for them getting over the line at the start of the year, whenever i watch them he always seems to kick important goals.

Whoever does the job on him needs to put in a 4 quarter effort. Maybe Bennell.
