Personally felt longmuir & Russell should have been promoted. But hey what do I know:(

Deluca? Hard to get excited about that.

Actually I'm very excited, I can yell "The DUKES" when he touches the ball.

What's the good of those changes?. I am sick of the same in's and out's nearly every week, we need fresh faces in the side I would have thought Prenda, Longmuir would have got the nod before these guys considering there performance last week. I know one good game shouldn't mean automatic selection but considering they kicked 12goals between them and both had the ball a bit I thought they would a chance, even Blackwell who had 33 disp and kicked 3 goals wasn't good enough.

Well that's my opinion.

I would have thought Prenda in for Deluca would have been better.

Hopefully they somehow manage to decide to keep Kennedy in. Gotta give the bloke a chance, not going to get much of a chance when your 80 points down and sitting on the pine.

Wow, the selectors really aren't showing any faith at all in any of the kids. No imagination at all.

Surely our match committee selections are more disgraceful than our performance on the park.

The bombers are struggling without Lloyd, they have thrown Bradley forward, and must surely be more vulnurable down back.

For christs sake, Livingston should be in and Whitnall play forward.

Russell, Blackwell and even Longmuir deserve more of a go.

We must kick a winning score, not defend and hold on.......

PATIENCE IS WEARING VERY THIN

Looks like Ian is the mystery man who won't get a game no matter what (as reported in another thread earlier this year).
If he can't make the squad after kicking 7 last week and BOG he'd have to be.

I heard that Prenda had a go at Pagan.

Pagan was saying to the team about the lack of backline players, Prenda cracked them and said basically he should be playing in the backline.

somehow doubt those will be the final changes. With deluca to come in along with sporn and mcgrath it looks like kennedy could be dropped which will be very dissapointing. Wouldnt be suprised if the likes of wiggins were dropped either, or maybe sporn or mcgrath will not be included after all. Not confident Pagan will go in with so many bench changes.

Wiggins & De luca are in the 18 so likely to play.

Id prefer Prenda to play than Sporn. Lets face it not much harm in playing him in our backline at the moment. 7 goals and 20 marks, he must be doing something right.

Prenda is no good in the backline. Never has been.

Words can't describe my anger right now. What kind of precedent are we setting when we lose by 70 odd points and still don't call up someone who has been playing as well as Prenda has in the two's? Not only did Prenda dominate on the weekend, but he has been in great form for the Bullants all year. He may not be the greatest player but the fact is that he is a listed player and hard work must be rewarded. I hate to think of the implications some of the crap like this must have on the younger players, when they see one of our senior players busting his ass in the two's and unable to get a game.

Why would Lappin be named on the bench guys? Is he in doubt due to injury or something? I thought he was getting back into some good form for the Blues

Lappin will most likely play with the Bullants this week. He needs to go back there and rediscover what he was doing 2 years ago. Definitely needs a wake up call.

I'm very disappointed that Blackwell didn't get a go. I have no doubt that this kid will adapt to AFL football very quickly. In fact I have this suspicion that he is the type of player that struggles to really fire up at VFL level, but will be sensational as soon as he steps into the big time. C'mon Dennis, give him a go.

I doubt Lappin will get dropped but I think the fact that he's been named on the bench is a wake up call & if he doesn't play better this week could find himself in the ants next week.

Blackwell can't get a spot in the starting 18 in the Bullants.

If this is really the case, then his 33 possession, 3 goal game last week was an even better effort. Imagine if he was starting in the 18 at the Bullants. He was going to get a senior game in Round 22 last year, except he broke his jaw in the last Bullants home and away game. His absence in the VFL finals really hurt the Bullants. If he isn't in the Bullants first 18, then maybe I can see where Graham Smorgon is coming from.
