They've already kinda said that Jordon would be playing if Sparrow didn't get the spot first so I wouldn't be surprised to see him debut.

Just keep playing Rivers pls.

Probably time for Bennell to return too.

McDonald is so far away from AFL standard at the moment it’s not funny.

Can hardly run let alone mark. Has to go.

Rivers should be one of the ins, hasn’t really done anything wrong in the games he has played.

The sooner Rivers has several games under his belt, the better. Is clearly ready for senior football now and we need him playing well so we can move Harmes somewhere else, whether that's the forward line or out of the side.

At this point I'd rather Fristch go into defence, because he's a smart player but can't kick straight, and put Harmes on the forward line.

It's the catch 22 with Fritsch. Getting heaps of opportunities forward but can't convert for shit. Reminds me a lot of Tim Membrey last year.

Hopefully something can click for him also next off-season.

I don’t know how we are going to stop the saints. Let’s have a look at them today against Brisbane. If Brisbane we should be looking at how and why. Given our lack of spread and pace, we are going to have to smash them in contested footy and somehow choke their run.

I feel like the same is said every week because we just don’t have any wheels in our group.

Fritsch is horrific in the back half, never want to see it again.

Worse than Harmes though? Fristch actually wasn't horrific, he was thrown down there in an emergency and yes he did some shocking things, he also did some really quite good things. I thought he carried himself ok enough given the circumstances, remembering half the defence was injured during that period.

But for whatever reason Goodwin has certain players that always have to be in the team. I think we are so hamstrung by it that the changes don't really matter anymore because it's the same handful of players going in and out every other week, and other players stay in the team and in the same positions regardless of their form or ability.

He has too much natural talent as a forward to be playing in defence. We’re not short on players who can plug a whole in the back half, but we have relatively few natural forwards. I’d rather hope that his goal kicking comes good than squander him elsewhere.

Couldnt agree more, it's a joke.

Not mention some players are probably wondering why the **** was I dropped when certain other players are forgiven for shit games time and time again.

Pet playing is never good for team moral, no matter what the actual noise coming out of the club from the players is. 100% team selection would be pissing some players off.

Our team isn't good enough to continually back in players who are miles out of form.

We have no mongrel in the team ,either individually or as a team . It's like they are on a collective good behaviour bond . I am not talking about off the ball stuff either , but note the difference . GWS go after Bont and the whole Bulldog team rally to protect him . Max get bowled over behind the play , and regularly get run into and what do our players do? Nada . Coach runs to AFL instead . No team gets to or wins a GF playing nice footy , and most teams know they can do whatever to us and we will behave ourselves .
I agree that there might be some players wondering what they have to do to get a run , and others that know they probably won't be dropped . Its U 14 stuff .

In: Gawn, Rivers, Bennell

Out: Preuss, Hannan/Spargo, Sparrow

Gawn in, no brainer.

Rivers in to back half, Harmes up forward.

Bennell in, if Hannan/Spargo aren't going to pressure, we may as well have Harley in.

Spargo particularly disappointing this week, Kozzie at least laid 5 tackles, Spargs went from 100% on last week to 100% off this week.

I agree and I'm not really advocating Fristch to defence, but more making the point that if players like Harmes are un-droppable then we might be better off swapping him around for someone like Fristch who is struggling to hit the scoreboard anyway, mix it up.

Really I'd like to see Harmes out and Rivers in, but we know that won't happen.

It sucks knowing that you can already tell how we’ll lose to the Saints, really hope I’m wrong and we can pull something out of a hat and win, but I feel like I’ve already seen this loss before.

Bring in Gawn, not sure what other changes will actually help us.
