Hmm I voted Giles but thought about it and changed my mind: McInnes offers heaps more around ground and Gov can spend a tiny amount of time in the ruck to change things up.

Hasn't quite got to this stage yet

But seriously.... nicnat should monster their rucks

Thats not the issue. The issue is our mids getting first use. Teams have worked out how to just out position and out muscle our mids and receive NN service. Given the huge bodies of the Swans we really do have our work cut out for us.

Not to go down the familiar road..... but if priddis misses they won't be able to shark our taps as easy...

Lose the Clearances at the SCG and your in big trouble one kick and your in the 50

Nic Nat could almost thump the ball inside 50 directly from the ruck. Would be nice to see that a few times.
Not a completely stupid idea would rather a mad scramble in our half and be more than one kick away from there 50 etc Something i wouldn't mind seeing if we are getting soundly beaten in the centre

I think its Reddo v Duggles. I thought Hutch was good enough. Obviously Lycett will miss but if Frase comes in he can fill the void or also Gov can pinch hit in the fwd 50. This one will be won in the midfield though we need to be good.

I think some of the calls for Cripps to be dropped are a little harsh. He copped a massive corky in the derby and bravely played on, and was in doubt this week too before playing. If his production is down because he's playing sore, sure give him a week off to recover, but if he's right to go he's a best 22 player imo.

Mismatches everywhere in our forward line. Just hoping we can get enough of the ball. Rumours of priddis missing again? Yeo vs Kennedy would be interesting

Would much rather Yeo runs with Parker or Hanners.

Time slowed down a lot for me when Jetta kicked that ball a long way into the middle (toward Masten) only to have two Richmond players waiting there for the ball to come down. It was like watching a car crash in slow motion.
Reminded me of Kerr and Masten being RoJo

Scg would probably be the easiest ground for nata to rove his own tap then burst through for a goal. Would love that to happen.

Good to watch but it won't help us win the game. We need to be ruthless at every contest and use our run.
If he does it 45 times it might help! :D

Crows beat the Swans in clearances and contested possession. I'm not sure we can do that to their midfield group...but I didn't think the Crows would be able to either.

Crows spread the clearance workload really well and Sydney seemed very reliant on Hanners and Kennedy by comparison.

I think there is a strong case for Hutch to hold his spot even if Priddis comes back in.

The pressure from both teams was immense it really could have gone either way in the end. I worry that they will just choke us with the same pressure and we will go to water. It will be a huge test for the young Eagles, I'm really not sure we can sustain it for 4 qtrs. If we stay with them the whole game then just go down I will pretty happy to be honest.

Changes: In Wellingham, Mciines and Priddis
Out Nelson, Lycettt (Brain Fade) and Duggan

Wellingham Emac Schofield
Hurn Gov Shepard
Masten Shuey Gaff
Jetta Darling Lecras
Hill Kennedy Cripps

Nic Nat Yeo Priddis

Interchange Redden, Hutchings, McInnes, Butler

Not far of the best 22 except for Dom Sheed

No we need to win these games if we want to win the flag we need to stamp ourselves on the competion. Our best is good enough

It was a very hard fought game. There have been some crackers the last two weeks.

I just feel like we need as much horsepower around the stoppages as possible this week and Duggles is not going to add this to the mix at this stage of his career.

We have to start winning the tough ones away from home I agree. Why not start this week :)
