Channel 10 - A Joke

I just wanted to see what other posters thought of the comentary on saturday night.

Here were my major issues

• Robert Walls in the Carl V PA game, N Stevens should not be chasing the captaincy, he should tell them Chris Judd is the man. Fevola will kick over 100 goals this year because Judd will give him 50. Judd this Judd that... I want to massage Judds balls with my tounge while i rub his ring. SHUT THE F&*k UP WALLS
• The dylectic boundary commentator in our game who couldn't put two words together.
• the commentators severe lack of knowledfe of what has been happening this pre-season. Oh Mcphee is playing forward this is intresting.Oh Hille and Laycock are playing in tandom ruck/forward. oh GUmby looks upset. Knights has said that mcphee will play forward all pre-season and layycock and hille will go fwd. Also they should know that Gumby has a history with his Hammys.
• Lastly voss saying that Bris are definates to make the top 8 which i have know problem with, and i tend to agree. But Quarters who i usally dont mind saying ddoing the second quarter "Vossy u want to take that back". Its a f&*ken preseason match where they have half a side u dumb shit.

They are pretty bad the worst thing is you turn the radio on instead and its 3-4 seconds ahead. TV do that on purpose for sure it's even more delayed if you have a new tv the plasmas are 4 seconds behind normal tv.

the boundary rider in our game was wes from one of the early big brother series (2 or 3 i think).. where they've all of a sudden pulled him from, who knows!! and yes everyone's lack of knowledge was very unprofessional.
also, with the tv delays, i noticed on the weekend that (foxtel) digital has now picked up the pace.. it used to be on about a 5-7 second delay compared to watching on normal tv. however on the weekend i noticed the tv in my room was actually 1 second behind the digital coverage in the other room.
it is very annoying that the radio broadcast is not in time with the tv!! gotta love MMM's coverage of the game

Apparently that Big Brother knob has been reading the sport up there.

Voss is useless to everyone bar Brisbane fans, and it wasn't just judged solely on Saturday Night's effort. Totally opposite to Glen Jackovich, gives praise and critisisms at the right times to both teams, not just WCE and has a good knowledge of different clubs.

I agree, Voss was useless. He only commented when the other commentaters were talking about brisbane, he has knowledge of brisabane and brisbane only.

Also that Big Brother "Knob" has also been doing the kids T.T.N news on channel in melbourne for more than a year. I'd like to know how he got his job????? He's useless as well.

As hopeless as Channel 10 is. There camera work kicks Channel 7 in the balls. I don't wanna see a camera shot from ground level in the forward pocket when the ball is on the edge of the 50.

Yeah the channel 10 commentary was fairly bad. I guess we should give them some slack as it was also their first game of the season.

I felt sorry for the boundary rider. Pretty obvious it was the first time he's done it, and admittedly he wasn't great, but cut him some slack, who wouldnt be nervous their first time in that situation. Dont worry, he'll get better, at least i hope so his sake. But yes Voss i was quite annoyed at. I mean naturally he wants to comment on Brisbane because he knows about them, but i remember one example where Hocking laid a brilliant tackle in the 1st quarter, and one of the other commentators (forgot which one) said something like, "Brilliant tackle from young Hocking there" and Voss came back with, "Yeah Johnstone really looks like he's fitted in well up here."

Are you sure? Alot of Fremantle supporters and a few Eagles too are actually really unimpressed with Jakko's commentry during the Derbys as he is completely one eyed and never has a positive to say about Freo, unless it is something to put down when they don't achieve it, like 'Freo with this amount of experience should win by about 10 goals' only to be foloowed byu 'well if you were a freo supporter you wouldn't be too happy about that, they should have won by more'

now that isn't word for word more an example of what he does

but he is ok when he isn't commentating agaisnt freo and west coast

All Channel 7 shots seem to be too tight or too wide. You really don't get a proper sense of the game and it can be dizzying to watch.
