Henry Blofeld was commentating for both 3aw and the BBC during the tests. He got mixed up at one stage, and started mentioning 3aw's sponsor, KFC, on the BBC, sending them all into a tizzy

We're only a few overs into Australia batting and already I wish it was football season, just so I could enjoy watching sport without Channel 9. As bad as their Test coverage is, their ODI coverage manages to be even worse.

I could do without the marathon ads for 'Schappelle' too.

I thought the coverage was actually an improvement on last year during the Test series. The additions of Vaughan an Bumble to the rotation certainly helped and for the first few tests at least it seemed like Healy and Slater were being broken up fairly well which reduced the amount of stints where you had to mute the TV.

So overall by 9 standards the Ashes coverage was decent I felt, but **** me they have started off the ODI series badly and I reckon it will only get worse.

Must admit I think the BBL 3 team are doing a marvelous job. I really enjoy gilly,punter and juniors chats. It's like being in the aussie dressing room when these guys were kings,plotting the destruction of some of the best cricket sides ever.

Also Mel's touch is unique and brings a warmth to the show.

I can't find the 10 thread so I'll just say this here: I wouldn't have thought Luke Hodge's voice was anything other than average, but, dear God, it was audible honey compared to the rest of the voices in the box tonight.
