Hard to see the Lions winning now, without the usual FF, CHF (assuming Brown's appeal fails in getting the suspension totally quashed), CHB (Leppitsch unlikely to play after not training today) and just the one ruckman.

I think Brennan is pretty much their 5th rucking option.

Keating is in chaps, he played against Carlton - so they have a ruckman avaialble, even if he has only played one game in the last 6 weeks.

Play Copeland in ruck alternating with Notting. **** the hitouts, Use them to make a contest and try and stop the other ruckman from getting hitouts.

If Leppitsch doesn't play, we play Brennan CHB and play Bradshaw CHF and Keating FF and Michael FB.

A couple of years back we had Ormand-Allen playing in the ruck. I think Burton took a few contests as well. Ended up winning the game too.

How can you be cited on video for something that wasn't captured? What a joke. Mick Martyn was in an almost identical incident with Simon Black a few years ago and they didn't put him out. Either Deluca squeeled or the tribunal make it up as they go along...

There was a striking action that was captures on camera but you can’t see the contact made. Other evidence or video must have helped the 2 weeks.

Charman either should've got none or a big one, the video footage showed he swung his arm towards a Carlton player, whom then got a blackeye (or some damage to his face) and had to leave the field. So in what any other way could that Carlton player have got the injury apart from Charman's swinging arm?

As you say, if we don't see the point of contact, then just like the Scarlett case (where it was ridiculous since it was clear that he did hit Riewolt) it should've been thrown out, but them giving him weeks for it means they were confident that the contact was made. If they come to that conclusion, then going by consistency, then how can you classify the Brodie Holland case (who got 4 weeks) twice worse than a punch to the face?

Then again, it's a joke to ask for consistency from the tribunal

No, which was my point entirely.

Scarlett got off, and Charman should have as well. In the past, not seeing the POC was enough to have the case thrown out, but that all changed tonight.
