Ball was within 5 minutes when i saw it and no contact to the head so i dont see anything wrong with it. Though something could get made up by the review panel

i thik he will only get 1 week. this will only be because the match review pannrl will make up rubbish. i agree no head contact.

Cannot get a week. Victimised him after his "hit" on Sinclair, if they rub him out again (after Buckley got off...after Didak got off) I will go ballistic.

I think the tribunal moves into finals mode and is less likely to rub a guy out for such a transgression.
But for those who saw nothing wrong - it was very late and deserved the report. Regular season - 1 to 2 weeks, but finals... I think you need to be a bit more out of line than to do something that would have been legal in other circumstances.
But then again who knows - lottery tribunal this year.

even if he gets a week he'll defend it. he has a lot of other incidents he can compare it to. eg. pickett/crowley and didak/scotland.

i reckon he should get off - all he did was stand his ground and the contact wasnt head high - the only bone of contention was that i think the ball may have been more than 5 away
the other bad thing is that he has a few demerit points to his name, so although the conatct may not warrant a week out, his points could add up to a week out...
nervous times... chicky is one of our most important players against the dogs because of the wealth of small forwards that they have... im more than a little worried atm

by stand his ground, i mean he didnt deviate illegally to get him - i dont have the footage right here, but it looked to me as though he 'stood his ground' - or in other words, held his position - this is what i think will get him off, or at least reduce his punishmentFrizzo said:

Chick has been cleared. Shame he can hardly walk and probably won't play this week. We will miss his physical hardness.

This is my first post here on BF 
I went to training today and Chicky didn't train with the main group he just walked/jogged laps. He looked in a bit of discomfort but I think he'll be ok to play on the wk end. Heres hoping anyway
