Yeah, Mackies girl is very ordinary. Looks like a messed up barbie doll.

It looks like the class bully took to the girls babie with a lighter for a few seconds. :p

Ahh, that explains it all. As Copernicus's signature says, ****en Hawthorn supporter.

Hey Mags did you want Benny back to the Weagles? Is it true Collingwood are gonna get him?

If you're like Haywood check out this deal when you go to Adelaide. :D

Yep i'd love to have him back, i signed the petition, my point on all of this is that if the AFL clear him to play, then why can't we pick him, i mean if it's good for another club to select him then why isn't it good enough for us.My club has been pretty piss week with the response they gave members IMO, and gutless in regards to bending over for the AFL, when you consider a Vic club who recently won the flag had substance issues as well.

I don't buy all the BS about having to get away from the Perth to escape the fishbowl syndrome( 2 team town), where ever Ben goes the media are going to be watching him like a hawk. Leaving WA ain't gunna stop the temptaion of drugs either, he can access them anywhere if he really wants to.

I'd have thought the Melbourne night life would promote drug use more than any other place in Aust..... well, perhaps not Sydney, but most anyway

Good point Mags, what were the reasons given by your club for not getting him back?

That's right, if anything I'd say he'd be under even more scrutiny in Melbourne because of the concentration of the media and everything footy-related is big news here.

Below is the E mail we received, from the club, IMO a whole lot of spin and bullshit.

Dear Member,

The hardest decision this club has ever made was to let go of Ben
Cousins, a great club champion. We did not make this decision lightly,
and only after we had exhausted all other options.

The decision to stand down Ben was the best decision for him, for the
team and for the club. As CEO I stand by the decision and believe it was
vital to Ben and the club's future.

The West Coast Eagles is not considering offering Ben a position back at
the West Coast Eagles. The club needs to rebuild and invest in our
future on the field, and under John Worsfold and our football department
we have made fantastic recruiting decisions with a new young list, led
by club leader and captain, Darren Glass.

I understand that many of our members have very strong feelings about
this issue, and about Ben's future, and I do appreciate that many have
taken time to write to the club with their views. I ask you as a member
to continue your strong support of our club, of our young list, and our
club leadership. We believe we will enter the 2009 season in a strong
and exciting position, and we look forward to returning to the success
we have enjoyed in the past.

Yours sincerely,

Trevor Nisbett

Look at this crap from Jake Nial today
"Unfortunately for Geelong, the 2008 grand final is likely to be remembered (except by those of brown and gold persuasion) as the premiership the Cats blew, more than one the Hawks won"

Is there any friggin chance that everybody is going to stop saying we are still the best team in the comp? That we should have won, that Ablett is the best player in the comp?

It's shitting me.

I'd rather they talked us up as 2nd best rather than 'the cats will get revenge next year'

With a bit of luck the hawks will pump is rnd 1 and I'll be able to get some decent odds on the cats for a change.

Better go get some work done

do you shout too? i'm looking for dinner friends.:D

Not very often we eat over your side. Closest we'd ever get is Hawthorn I'd say.
