Anyway.... tis a sad day indeed today. Sony has officially discontinued producing the walkman. -bows head-. RIP walkman, you will be missed- I remember winning my first one of you!!! In a raffle in Grade Six all the way back in 1992, lol. And after that one died, went onto several more, these ones having presets!!! And digital radio.

Although what a kick ass thing they were. How many trips to and from school did I make listening to a walkman.

I remember the good itmes, like when you are recording a track and the tape runs out so you have half the track on one side and half on the other. I also remember when I first used a walkman where you didn't have to flip the tape to play the other side!

They don't make advanced shit like that anymore

Apparently. IIrc I remember seeing one model being sold in JB Hifi not long ago. But yeah HS reported it as being official today, not being made anymore.

Next to go will be the casette tape. Then I'll be in trouble.
