I'm hoping someone might be off to Bower's Manager to let him know he should come out and say "I wanna go home" and then have us offer CFC picks 50 something and 70 something or just grab him in the PSD.

I'd actually be happy if they offered a 30-40 plus the 50-ish. Particularly with our picks before then.

And yet we traded away the rights to any prelisted players did we not? Mustn't have rated any of them and are looking at some mature agers who've never been on a list?

Or was he talking long term once free agency and all that comes in?

Just about my favourite guy down at the club lately. It's nice to finally have club management who are working towards a clear plan.

Thanks for the main points Lach. Things happened as suspected. Bond did things clearly, decisively and with the broader interest of the club in mind. We may have missed our man, but at that price (and for the type of character he's implying himself to be), may turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Surprised he called off any other interest in trades, but he seems to know what he's doing.
