I think this is long overdue. The kid can ball. Last night I watched Kings Vs Hornets and the boy has impressed me big time. Quick as a bullet, can score in a hurry, knows how to set up others and for such a small player, he loves to get in amongst it on the boards. For such a young player he shows exceptional leadership. He is already a leader of the Hornets.

The kid has All-Star written all over him and in the not too distant future.

Was my well predicted ROTY candidate and I think its fair to say he'd have to break a leg at the moment not to win it. Is a true leader, and not only is 4th in assists but also averaging a health clip for PPG. He's a T.J.Ford type build but with the game of J-Kidd, just somebody who can do it all (no I'm not saying hes Kidd yet, by the way) and shows great leadership on the court. I think its fair to say P.J.Brown is the captain of the team, but Paul is the leader for the future.

Unlike our star point guard of the past, Chris doesnt take shots out of the offence and is a pass-first point guard, who can also shoot.

Long live the Paul.

I was just blown away with the quality and potential of this kid. He is TJ Ford sort of height but is a bit more solid and a much better shooter than TJ. Absolutely love the kid. He will be one of the best PGs in the league. His maturity is very impressive and as you say, his ability to be score within the offence is sign of a great player. He has so much poise for a rookie.

IMHO, he will most likely end up being the best player from this draft.

He has a fantastic floor sense, I'm starting to call him a 'general' already, and it's only been half a season. This kid will be a J-Kidd type player if he fulfils his potential! :thumbsu:

i was going to trade him from my fantasy team i'm on the eve of the season but i thought i'd give him a few weeks to prove himself. Can't complain with his number at all!

Unfortunately I had to trade him. I desperately need a power foward, as my best and only power foward was Matt Bonner. I also had an embarassment of riches when it came to point guards as I have J Will, Deron, Brevin Knight and Delonte West.

Whatever smart spin you want to put on the comment won't work, give up.

Proof:

1. "The kid can ball"
2. "Long live the Paul"
3. "I'm starting to call him a 'general' already"

Stupidity...

Alright Drummond I never joined in the "bagging you coz you won't drink" threads, that was somewhat childish yet funny. But its quite apparent now you're just a moron, we're praising the kid, and you're calling these comments stupid? Get a life.

No it's not that you're praising him, I don't have the slightest problem with that. I do have a problem with the stupid Yank wanna be comments, such as "The kid can ball". Who are you trying to kid, we're NOT AMERICANS.

It comes with the territory doesnt it? If you follow "football" soccer, whatever, you might call the manager "the gaffer" as british people do, simply because thats how people who follow the game/are in the game, thats what they say. We follow a sport dominated by American culture, we're going to follow that culture to some extent.

"The Kid can ball" easier than saying "the young guy has a lot of talent", putting into a relative context really....

Who the heck says, "The kid can ball"?

Not many people, even mates who are mad about the NBA, use such expressions.

You should take Stiff to a 36ers game and become mates with him, then you'll have mates that use that expression. :thumbsu:

Ouch. Argument = over.

Anyway, yeah... the kid can bounce. He got gizame fo shizzle.

Had him at $9 for the ROTY, thanks to a nice tip off. Should be a tidy little earner.
