Coach Chris Scott and Jeremy Cameron's broken arm incident.

You seem ok with creating unnecessary threads telling consenting adults what they can and can’t do based on an irrational hatred for a football team even after they’ve just had their arse fed to them in a grand final so why can’t he be ok with his own stance
My post was not riduculous at all so I am challenging him on that.

Yeah it is and the responses to it highlight it.

There are medical professionals employed by each club and the league to make sure players are safe. The night before across the road at AAMI Park Jahrome Hughes guided Melbourne into a grand final with a wrist that was still broken. Shane Webcke played a grand final with a broken arm. Cooper Cronk played a grand final with a broken shoulder. Sam Burgess played one with a fractured cheekbone/eye socket.

You do what it takes and that’s the end of it and you know as well as everyone else in this forum that if a player from another club was in Cameron’s position yesterday you wouldn’t say a word. You have a major problem 😂😂

Doctors can get it wrong like the Petracca incident.
Cameron is in hospital at the moment.

Doctors used to send concussed players back on until recently.

That's a stupid unrelated statement. You've got absolutely minimal to no info on how bad it was the risks ect and so you're throwing shade at a medical professional who had all that info and deemed it ok. On top of that Cameron himself would of been told the info and no doubt said to get himself back on. He's decision making wasn't impaired with a broken arm.

You don't seem like the type of person who can listen to a different point of view so I'll leave it at that.

Ok then in that case let’s never listen to them.

‘you have cancer.’
‘no I don’t.’
‘Sorry what?’
‘Christian Petracca got let back on the field incorrectly once. Ergo I don’t have cancer. ‘

Neale shouldn’t have played because it was a risk. The doctor got it wrong because he’s probably sore today

Just waiting for you to bump the thread you created for Nat Fyfe playing with a broken fibula for almost an entire match or wondering why it happened in the first place
That said fibula isn’t weight bearing (assuming not near ankle where that can be unstable)

We need to start looking at AFL Club Doctors like Corporate HR. They're not there for the players/employees. They're there for the clubs.

They just mend the player and get them back on the field.

You don't have a medical degree (or any university knowledge) for that matter to demand such a request.
You are are a middle aged nobody who feels entitled.

Just move along and try and enjoy the remaining decades of your life.
Not sure how I'm entitled . I was a nurse for ten years and have a Bachelor of Health Science so I'm tipping I've got you covered mate.

Footy culture lionises players pushing through serious injuries, especially in finals and grand finals.

I can understand why Cameron and Scott wanted him to play on. You're the best forward in your team during a grand final. Of course you'd want to play on - who wouldn't? You can't be expected to act 100% rationally in such circumstances.

Then it's on the doctors to give objective medical advice. If they truly thought he was right to play, there's nothing to see here.

Nah, you are a troll of the highest order who relentlessly posts absurdities and false claims.

Self entitled no body who believes he is above others.
You're wrong. Leave the thread if you're just going to take pot shots.
Another impact injury on that arm could cause nerve damage, ligament and muscle damage and perforation of the skin.

So an ATAR of 60? Bar is set fairly low for a valid reason.
And I'm not stupid enough to disclose my profession to a bunch of social media nuffies.

By all means, keep on pumping up your over-inflated ego!

(I'm a nurse mate 🤣)

I recall not long ago Chris Scott saying that the wellbeing of his players was number 1 priority and he wouldn't hesitate to bring player offif need be. Pretty poor look yesterday.

I was appalled
Ricky Gervais Lol GIF

Yes I am. Players play through pain all the time...it's broken it can't get any worse.

Concussion a different issue.
It can get a lot worse. Fractured again in a different position due to weakened bone structure, risk of a compound fracture. Could be terrible.
