The alternative is that Scott uses the next couple of months to reflect on life outside of football - that is when he's not completing coaching duties from a distance

This is something he said back in 2017 - *Scott has agreed in principle to remain with Geelong until 2020 but may seek another career path beyond that.

“The best way will be to finish before my daughter gets to school, based on what I’ve heard from other coaches,” Scott told Off-Field.*

Looking at his press conference after the GWS match, he looked like a guy who knew there was more to life than football, especially with the current world environment in which we find ourselves. So this break from May reinvigorate him, give him that push to keep going, or he may find that after this additional family time that he has different priorities in life
Can only hope.... I hope I can come and say.. Yes I was wrong about Chris Scott, but each year going pass the confidence is getting less..

Or he may work out a Plan,C and even D. He might work out that playing an not so perfect ruckman might be better than robbing the backline for one, he might play players in position even in the one that suits their strengths. He might take a long hard look at his assistants and decide he needs some new faces. Anything possible in these times.

Thread is about what CS did - not the coaching style or game plan..

Its a thin alley this thread but needs to stay this way.

GO Catters

Yes dazbroncos ...seems to be wandering off course now....maybe time to close it.....?

Was always likely to happen. The ABS crew are apparently that obsessed that they have to bring their hostility and angst about the coach wherever they bob up on this board.

Sad but true.
