The Football community has acknowledged Chris's new game down back at Fremantle and now Collingwood. He is a big unit who can match the big forwards of the game and can also take a grab.

When I think of his earlier days at Collingwood being a forward, I think of a guy who could jump on defenders shoulders to take big grabs, but also be a very average set shot at goal. However, in his 161 games at Collingwood before being traded to Fremantle, Chris kicked 300 goals, Anzac Day Medalist, All Australian, MOTY 2003 and five time leading goal kicker.

So it begs the question....which end of the ground has Chris played his best footy?

Id prefer him as a defender, but with N Brown to return, Collingwood's overly tall backline and Dawes disappearing for the finals maybe we will get a chance to see if he can still cut it as a forward.

Chris Tarrant's best season was undoubtedly his 2003 season, when he was All-Australian, took 219 marks and kicked 54 goals despite often leading long ways up the field.

He's probably played at his best in the backline much more consistently than he did in the forward line.
