Fitzroy side of the family.
Ports traditional colors - black, white, teal
Lions traditional colors - maroon, royal blue, gold

So what do the Lions wear? white with blue socks.

Surely common sense says the Lions in Maroon top and Maroon shorts as well, with Port in the traditional top with white shorts.

Throw the tradition of the 'dark shorts for home, white shorts for away' out the window before you start throwing away the traditional guernsey color for the clash jumper tripe. I can't stand the Lions clash "nappy".

As one poster puts as his calling card - "Say no to urine stained clash jumpers".

Officially the 1,456th thread about clash jumpers.

It doesn't really matter what we think, the jumpers are here to stay.

In fairness to the AFL, they don't have a gun to the head of the Brisbane Lions to come out with an abominable design.

But the lions are the worst ones ever. Worse tha nanything the hawks have ever worn and that is saying something.
I'm all for clash jumpers but keep em simple stupid.

People who whinge about clash jumpers may get a better idea of what it's all about when they are older and the eyes aren't working as well as they used to. Until then, shut up. It's a real issue for a lot of spectators, especially at night.

I won't shut up.

My eyes aren't that great. At the ground, I can better recognise which player is which when they're in their usual guernsey than when they're in the clash, because you get used to them week in week out in the same gear.

If you're that blind, a white blur makes no difference to a maroon blur.

No chance they're worse than your jockey design or rubgy guernsey design.

No way in hell. At least Blue/White/Yellow is a reasonable colour combination. What the marketing team were thinking by adding navy to brown and gold, we'll never know.

hahahaha, that Hawthorn one was a shocker wasn't it.

Our current one is not much better:o

Hopefully in 2008 our clash jumper will be something different to keep everyone happy;)
