Anyway it's a very good sign for the Eagles.
He's a very important cog for our future, and he's likely to matchup on either Croad or Waterhouse in Round1, so getting some match fitness will be very important for him.

Interesting to see he's replaced Carroll. Is Trent injured? or is it more to do with his form?
Also Cuzz and Gardy are in the side.

For the cats, Mitchell White is a noticeable absentee.
He was very good last week, and he'll definitely be missed by Geelong.
And we might get to see what the 'son of god' can do as well.

I would like to see Lynch, Hunter and Hansen get a run. Don't want to risk Cuz. Good to see Glass back. Maybe swap Pe Matera and Chambers around in bold but thats about it.

Glad to see Glass back...he has become one of my favourite players for the Eagles, quite a comeback for him as i heted him and called for him to be delisted after his blunder in the 1 point loss to Freo. Couldnt pick it up and kick it 5 metres out from goal with like 2 mins left??? But since then, what a champ!

Im even happier to see Collica back, i just feel as ease when he is in defence, got no idea why Collica was on the outer at Hawthorn, i think he's every bit as good as Rawlings, Croad but maybe not Hay. Croad though now up forward for the Dockers and we should see Collica towel him up come round 1. Bit of payback for being cut from Hawthorn.

Defence looks loads better with Glass and Collica back, Jako's good form bodes well too. Now all we need is some small defenders, with Wirra moving up the ground and the tragedy that is Phillip Read, we dont have many options.

well that shoots holes in my theory, although not completely. I was just very upset how Judge would let Roo and Wirra get dragged back to the goalsquare by their opponents, much like the way all the champion CHF's do to Jako, hence taking them out of the play except for the occasional lead.

One hopes he can return to the half-back "sweeper", and although I can't stand the way Craig Bradley does it, Peter Matera would fit perfectly into that role! Avoid most physical contact, roam the open space, and then blitz when you have possession!

Glass for Carroll ..... hmmmm, woosha must be reading bigfooty boards.

Definately a strange one! You'd think that since he played a few senior games for Perth last year and a good pre-season we were told about, they would play him in at least 1 of the Wizard Cup games. Still - Woosha must have a reason behind all of this (maybe not to give the opposition a look at our gun too soon!)
