Five years should be the maximums IMO. If you haven't progressed in the period of five years you should be axed. So.

Five years for a tall. Three years for a small.

I hate to be negative and paranoid but I don't think C.Cloke will make it due to injuries. A 3rd(?) shoulder injury in his short career means his shoulders are shot. It's not just that he has had problems with his shoulders. I would definately give him next year but all the talk about Davidson being injury plagued, C.Cloke is not far off.

What he might do elsewhere is no reason to warehouse him. It’s debatable that he can make it elsewhere for a start but even if he could it doesn’t hurt us if he couldn't make it with us. With a salary cap and a limit on list numbers you can’t keep players who are not producing unless you think you can turn them around in 12 months or so.

All the talls we got rid of,fanning,cam cloke .jason cloke,hall,walker,we should add richards to this list are all useless.Let's get smart and hopefully pick up 2 ruck options in this years draft and get keating in the psd draft.if we do we'll do well next yaer.if they use a few kpp to pinch hit in the ruck we will be in trouble.Out of the remaining stocks in this years draft we should target renouf,hampson,currie.Tippet and goldstein are ex basketballers who won't fit the bill in the ruck.Ex basketabllers don't work,we need big bodies ,big engines like cox,or sandilnads to take the pressure off poor josh fraser.man he has been carrying the load on his own for far too long.josh has too much finnese to the main ruck option. we desperately need a big bodied ruck option to help josh.Then we will become a force to be reckoned with.
